The people are very helpful and friendly.
The walk up the hill.
All the staff were so kind and helpful to us and the grounds are exceptional
If being honest the room was a bit small
Friendly helpful staff.
Great location and wonderful grounds.
The swimming pool was lovely.
This hotel is so dog friendly it is lovely. This was our third stay and will not be our last. The staff are really excellent. All the staff were friendly and really went out of their way to be helpful. They really were outstanding.
grounds and access to promenade excellant
very noisy from traffic hem on curtains broken plug to sink not working skirting in bathroom in need of attention lights above bed should be higher unable to sit up in bed seemed a lot of unessacary furniture
Beautiful Gardens. All staff were polite and helpful. Good choice of breakfast items. Having a lift to our room was a huge advantage. Refurbished swimming pool(not used by us on our stay). IN July this hotel will become a cashless business(Card Only).
Bathroom needed updating and apparently they are soon embarking on a programme to refurbish the bathrooms. Rooms could benefit from smart televisions. No bottled water in rooms.
Cleanliness friendly staff
Walk back from beach
Central to Teignmouth. Lovely setting and walk in the gardens.
Needs updating.
The grounds, the food, the area, free secure parking, staff, Swimming pool (although I did find it rather shallow).
We had to move room due to x2 worn out mattress being so uncomfortable but it was dealt with quickly and we were very happy with the new room.
we were able to take our dog. The grounds are beautiful . Close to the beach. We have been many times before. All the decorating that has been done is very nice. Beautiful pool. Helpful staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast.
4pm is quite late for access to room when you have travelled 250 miles.
There seemed a shortage of staff. All the staff were very nice but more were needed.
It was a very long walk to the breakfast area if you could only find a table in the restaurant area near the bar area, especially as a lot of the holidaymakers were partially sighted. Carrying plates/drinks was most difficult. The bathroom was not ideal for less agile people (80yr. olds) Dangerous climbing into the bath for a shower. No safety handles on the walls around the bath. Wonderful sized bathroom but lacked a unit/shelves to put toiletries bags. Tea brewing area very cramped. Plugs had to be taken out from one item, to plug in hair dryer. Bedside lamp needed at all beds. Plenty of lights but had to get out of bed in the dark to go to the bathroom at night.
We loved the stunning view, great location and fantastic swimming pool - heated and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
Food was basic but decent.
Dining area felt like the 1980s. Loud music, weary staff, all a bit uninspired, especially the kept-warm scrambled egg.
If I was staying more than one night I'd need a room with a view. Back of the building not so good!
Lovely old hotel, very comfortable bed, good breakfast
Not enough car parking
Lovely gardens and grounds to walk in. Great swimming pool. Very dog friendly.
Close to the road
Swimming pool Excellent.
Nothing too much trouble for all staff.
Nothing
We loved the setting , and the beautiful gardens .
There was nothing we didn't like .
Lovely hotel in a good location for local amenities, friendly staff and clean
