Nothing
The gardens
Lack of staff
Very Comfortable Friendly Staff Helpful
Supportive and made sure we had 2 Fans as the Room was very hot
Bar Closed Early, No Air conditioning No Socket for my side of the bed
The staff were really nice and friendly and the food was very good. The gardens are lovely to walk through to the gated entrance to the beach.
I asked for a room with a view of the gardens or the sea, but we were at the back of the hotel with a view of the bins? The room was very small and cramped and very hot. We had to have the window open as far as it could be opened, but we were kept awake by the traffic from the busy road. It put a dampner our 25th anniversary break.
Restaurants food and drink. Indoor pool. Grounds. Staff friendly
Room a little more cramped than expected as paid for a Club Room. Lack of available up to date information re local taxis.4
Excellent location and good breakfast
The lift wasn't working.
Old victorian style
Lift out of order
The hotel is fantastic but they seemed short staffed. Breakfast was tasty but hit and miss.
de ligging. Op wandelafstand van het strand en een mooi park.
Alles was redelijk basic. Het ontbijt was basic en de kamermuren waren extreem dun. (we hoorden mensen in de gang, boven on en op de trap aanpalend aan onze kamer.
Location and outlook
Room like a sauna next to Road so couldn’t have widows open because of noise. No soap in bathroom. Seemed very basic
Everything was as we expected, the breakfast room was clean with plenty of food
Dogs in restaurant and our room did have a smell of dog
I had breakfast at the hotel during my stay and in the evening dined in the restaurant. T he food was of a good standard. And on my last day in the afternoon, I had a cream tea, again very good. The location was ideal, so near the railway station and enjoyed walking in the grounds of the hotel.
Breakfast was good, room was comfortable.
The grounds looked sad and needed attention.
Breakfast was okay. Staff very friendly. Beautiful garden.
Pillows very filmsy
Breakfast, room and location were all very good.
Lift was out of action
It’s like home from home. Lovely hotel set in 7 acres of beautiful garden with views out over the sea.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Have visited many times before and will be returning again soon.
Nothing to dislike
Staff were lovely fantastic breakfast lovely setting and views amazing bus stops just outside with a good bus service
Hotel rooms very tired in need of decoration and repairs only one lift which was out of order as a 73 year old i found the 39 steps up to my room very strenuous although the staff were very polite and helpful more often than not reception was unmaned what did frustrate me more than anything on our last night we decided to book a table at the hotel at 8.00pm because of a very nice a la carte menu posted on their web site after 3 pints of cider and a lovely view of the eclipse we got shown to our table and given a menu that was not even close to the one on the website there was nothing on the menu we wanted it seemed to me all they was offering was the d b b menu when we asked the waiteress we got told itz the only menu available and we change it daily so getting a taxi down to town we finished up with fish chips at finn mcolls which were amazing there was a pool room with a large rip in the cloth
o
Staff always polite and friendly,Can park the car (free) .Close to the town and buses ,.
No bar meals, and miss evening Entertainment.
