Pros:

Proximity to Termini station/Metro, easy to travel across Rome. Quite place. Clean Rooms

Cons:

Had a terrible specific experience. There was a missing tile edge trim in the shower room and in the morning I cut my leg on the exposed sharp piece of ceramic wall. The Hotel Stuff could not call a doctor. They ordered a Taxi to a non existent first aid station (I paid for the taxi) and I had to return back to a hotel and find and arrange a doctor on my own. The stuff fixed the broken part in the wall the same day, but I felt on my own, the stuff did not care about me, no compensation of any sort. Walking with bleeding bandage was painful, the stuff did not even ask if I need something to be brought to my room, like breakfast. Other than this experience, everything else was fine

Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel
Pros:

Tolle Lage mit 300m vom Bahnhof Termini. Absolut ruhiges Zimmer, trotz Lage zur Straße. Sehr schöne kleine Dachterrasse auf der es auch das Frühstück gibt - mit Blick über Rom aus dem 8.Stockwerk. Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel war super praktisch.

Nice rooms, great roof top bar.

Cons:

We asked for a late check out as my wife was not feeling well, we would have been happy to pay for this but we were told they could not help us as the hotel was full. However when I went online I had a choice of rooms to choose from for the day we were leaving.

Pros:

Location, location, location! We could see termini from our window. Our room was a good size for the two of us and the bed was fantastic. The lift was a godsend and the rooftop terrace and bar was an excellent surprise. Beware of Louise, you have to stay with your food or she’ll eat it

Wonder Hotel
Pros:

We went to Italy as a birthday celebration and decided to stay at the Independent Hotel. The staff were always friendly and happy to help. The room was clean and tidy. The view from the restaurant/bar on the top floor was was simply stunning, particularly at night. The breakfast had a good variety to chose from, and the drinks were amazing! We were particularly fond of the cocktails. It's in the perfect location to catch transportation. The reception will happily call you a taxi if you need one too. Everything was a short distance away. The atmosphere was very pleasant. It was cosy and charming. The air conditioning was a life saver after being out in the July Italian heat!

Great location and lovely hotel.
Pros:

Stayed for 3 nights as a family with two teens. Lovely hotel, very clean and all staff very welcoming. The room was a great set up for us all. Perfect location to explore Rome as the termini main station is a couple of mins walk away. Highly recommend.
Only suggestion to the hotel is to get some citronella repellents for the roof terrace- the wasps swarmed at breakfast. We will recommend this hotel to others and will hopefully return again.

A smart hotel that provides a great base to explore Rome
Pros:

A smart hotel within easy walking distance of Termini - central and well-connected but quiet at night. The rooms were spacious and attractively decorated with effective air conditioning. The rooftop bar has both internal (air conditioned) and external space and provides a lovely location for breakfast and early evening drinks with views across the city. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A great base to explore Rome.
