Pros:

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. Het hotel regelde snel een taxi voor ons tegen een goede prijs en vragen werden steeds snel beantwoord. De kamer was leuk, netjes en voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. De bedden waren comfortabel en het uitzicht was erg mooi. Ook de roomservice was goed en het eten was lekker. Het ontbijtbuffet was lekker, al was de keuze wel wat beperkt.

Cons:

Helaas waren enkele faciliteiten tijdens ons verblijf niet beschikbaar. Zo konden we geen gebruikmaken van het zwembad en de jacuzzi. Ook vonden we het jammer dat er geen duidelijke openingstijden waren voor het winkeltje, waardoor het onduidelijk was wanneer dit geopend was. Het ontbijtbuffet was lekker, maar werd elke dag hetzelfde aangeboden. Wat meer variatie bij het ontbijt zou het verblijf nog aangenamer maken.

Cons:

Le personnel n'avait pas notre réservation à notre arrivée. Le restaurant sur place était très cher par rapport à la qualité. La piscine était froide et minuscule. Nous pensions utiliser le jackuzi et le sauna mais à notre grande surprise tout était en supplément avec une réservation à l'avance pour qu'ils aient le temps de les chauffer, grande déception.

Hermosa vista al lago Titicaca
Pros:

El desayuno super variado, la vista espectacular del Lago Titicaca ,en todo momento. El restaurante atiende en todas horas, no es nada barato, pero al menos encuentras todo dentro del hotel.

Cons:

La falta de atención del personal, no es amable, nadie te ayuda con tu equipaje.
Me parece que la administración debería trabajar la amabilidad y el don de servicio de todo el personal para con los huéspedes.
Podrían mejorar la entrada de acceso desde la carretera hasta la recepción del.hotel, es pedregoso bastante descuidado.

Pros:

Het personeel is heel aardig, mooie en grote kamer met een warme douche en zelfs een bad. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en het eten in het restaurant is goed. Er is ook een mooie tuin.

Pros:

La ubicacion estuvo excelente, alejado de la ciudad, el servicio de restaurante muy bueno, es variado y nos dieron opciones para las niñas. Ademas hicimos uso del Spa antes de irnos , excelente atención, atendieron cada uno de nuestros requerimientos sin problemas.

A beautiful, safe, comfy and yummy meals.
Pros:

Breakfast was good enough for a family traveling with elderly members, people in their 40s and a little enfant. The hair drier! We loved it, thanks for it. The room was comfy, clean and very well decorated. The view was spectacular at night and during the day. The hotel has very pretty gardens and the rooms are nicely decorated, very lovely. Although, it was -3 degrees outside during the morning, the room was warm. Dinner was delicious. Staff was helpful and professional.

Cons:

The toilet seemed a bit run down or old. But, it was clean and tidy, enough towels. The hair drier was really awesome. Very thankful for that.

Todo. La atención del personal es superlativa. El desayuno americano es increíble y el Restaurant riquísimo. La vista al lago es inmejorable. Las habitaciones espaciosas y cómodas. Nos ayudaron mucho con nuestro soroche y nos proveyeron de oxígeno cuando necesitamos. Cuesta entender el precio tan barato. Increíble lugar.

Excellent stay with exceptional hospitality, just needs better Wi-Fi
Pros:

We stayed at Taypikala Lago for 8 days, and overall, it was an absolutely excellent experience. We loved almost everything about this hotel and highly recommend it!

The Highlights:

Out-of-the-Box Staff: The team here is incredibly helpful, friendly, and supportive. A special shoutout to Rut and Glen in the restaurant, who were exceptionally attentive, warm, and made us feel so welcome every day.

Fantastic Food: The food is excellent. Whatever we ordered was delicious, fresh, served hot, and of the highest quality.

Great Location: It is located just 20 minutes by car from the center of Puno. We easily used Uber and Cabify to request taxis in advance, which cost around 40–50 PEN (Soles) per trip.

Final Verdict: Despite the internet struggles, the incredible hospitality, beautiful setting, and amazing food made our stay unforgettable. We would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

Poor Internet for Remote Work: The only major downside was the Wi-Fi. We were staying here for work, and the internet was very weak throughout the entire hotel. It was very difficult to hold online meetings on MS Teams/Zoom or make internet calls. Since we were here for 8 days, this was a consistent issue. The hotel definitely needs to upgrade its connectivity.
