The high standard of the ground floor creates false expectations, as the rooms fall far short of that quality
Pros:

Restaurants were amazing!

Cons:

I was extremely disappointed with my stay, especially given the high price. The room was dirty and dusty, the carpet was stained, and the furniture was outdated. The bathroom blinds were broken, and the fridge appeared moldy inside. Additionally, the shower lacked body wash, forcing me to step in and out of the shower to use the sink soap. Overall, the conditions were unacceptable for what I paid.

The lady at the front desk was fantastic upon arrival 🙌👌.. The view was amazing at dusk and dawn... Also the restaurant Knots Kitchen the food was amazing 👏

Cons:

Definitely wasnt worth $399 for one night. Room wasnt very clean especially, in the in room spa area as i was filling up spa it had gunk coming out of jets and the water looked like river water but came good after a flush through and refill. As i was lying in spa you could see the print of a previous guests face on the glass window. And the tiles surrounding had water marks everywhere. Also there was no complimentary bottle of water in the room for $399

We liked the location. It was nice to have water views. We were a little disappointed with service.
Pros:

We thought the room was nice. The beds were definitely comfy and Reception was pleasant.

Cons:

The Gentlemen managing the Bar and that very nice Restaurant was not very friendly on Saturday night. He over charge me. He disbelieved it, he looked through his pricing book and then he offered to give me a discount on my next round never... never to apologise. He is not appropriate for a service base business. I've run health club for 42 years and he's not someone I'd employ for that role. Also whilst the breakfast was nice, I found it a little bit chaotic and disorientated, first we were told to go sit down on a table. They never mention that we had to come back up to order, this was a young person and then when I ordered, I then tried to order coffee, a lady explained, you have to order that over there. It just was oddly organised

Disappointed - standards seem to be dropping
Cons:

Room had an awful smell of damp or mould on entering. There were hair trimmings from what i assume was shaving on the handle of the vanity draw.

Lakes Resort needs updating.
Pros:

Loved the view of the Lake from the Balcony. Location is handy to the Airport, Westfield Shopping Centre across the road, Beach 5 mins away.

Cons:

No USB Ports in PowerPoint, old TV not Smart TV, local Channels only, Gaming room policy, no straight spirits with ice, told I would have to have an additive ie Coke etc, ridiculous!! the heaters in the smoking areas always off, had to find the boss to come and turn on! No bottled water in room, most hotels/motels would provide at least 1 bottle.
