A group of friends and I are currently staying at the Waldorf Astoria. No one has had any complaints with their rooms. Staff at this hotel has been outstanding. We just finished having lunch and drinks at the pool bar after attending a tour and Camilo is amazing. Carlos at front desk checked us in yesterday and he was also amazing.. I spoke with him a day prior to our arrival and he made an afternoon tea reservation for the day of our arrival. I’ve had afternoon tea here three times and this was the best one. I loved the addition of the pineapple cake. This place has excellent customer service. The lady at the concierge is very friendly too, and has a wealth of knowledge. For some reason her name just left me, but I didn’t want to not mention her too. A trifecta of amazing staff. Everyone agreed we will stay here again.

The staff is top notch! We were well taken care of. Nicolas was a joy to talk to as well as an excellent server. Trust the concierges… they are determined to make your trip even better. We enjoyed the hotel and the location, too! We could see the shops lining up for the canal and walk to good restaurants.

The Waldorf Astoria Hotel lived up to its excellent reputation. Our room was quiet, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the morning buffet which featured a wide selection of perfectly cooked Panamanian dishes. The hotel was well situated in the city and an easy walk or Uber to all major attractions and dining options. However, the strength of this hotel lay especially in the excellence of its staff, from the greeting received at the entrance to the cold drinks provided upon arrival to the careful attention of the housekeeping staff. On one occasion I asked the front desk staff to send a bucket of ice to our room, and the request was met almost faster than I could get back to my room! The concierge, Lille, was informative and engaging and made reservations for us both at local attractions and restaurants. Nicolas and Camilo (bar and wait staff) made us feel like we were members of their family. Of special note was Nicolas' warmth and willingness to help with my attempt to master the Spanish language. It is these types of individual contacts with people such as Nicolas that turn a hotel into a home away from home. We would definitely stay again in the future.

The service was excellent, very attentive. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the balcony had a wonderful view of the city. The food was excellent with many options.

All the staff at this Hilton were very friendly and accommodating to our every need. "William", in the breakfast buffet and behind the lobby bar was attentive and most personable. "Carlos" at the front desk was committed and responsive to our requests. Ruben was engaging and interested in knowing how we were enjoying our stay. What a great team! 👍

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Our breakfast host Will Smith was very kind and attentive with everything each morning! All the staff was amazing and our room was spectacular!

Had a fantastic experience. The location was very central and close to Casco, the area we frequented the most. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. William Smith was one of the people who helped make our vacation very comfortable. He just stood out due to the fact that he was consistently checking on our group and we also shared a good cultural affinity. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future and hopefully I’ll see him again. Strongly recommend people stay and ask for William when they do come.

Location was great and atmosphere was phenomenal. What made the experience unmatched was the exceptional service of William Smith. When you get here make sure to ask for him. Don't get me wrong the staff as a whole was fantastic however William went ABOVE AND BEYOND on a daily basis and made this stay unforgettable. Special shout out to Dailin as well. Will be coming back just because the service was outstanding. A must visit!!!

Had a great time in Panama and at the Waldorf! The hotel staff and location get 5 stars! They took very good care of us and were very professional and hospitality. It was my mother’s 65th birthday and they made her feel so special. William Smith served us at breakfast everyday and he was awesome!! All the employees were ah-mazing! I took a half star away for it being an older hotel. We stayed on the 15th floor and there was an odor on the floor, almost like a mildew smell. There was no smell in our room, thankfully. The bathroom had two shower heads and when you turned off the overhead shower it still dripped cold water on you while showering. The water temperature wasn’t warm enough for me either. I didn’t notify the maintenance , but I am sure they would have moved us or fixed the issue. We weren’t there long enough for me to complain. Other than that, the aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and peaceful. I loved that there was no random traffic. I would stay again and would still recommend.

Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday in Panama at the Waldorf Astoria, and we had an absolutely amazing time! The hotel is beautiful, impeccably clean, and truly exceeded our expectations. Every staff member, mostly William our waiter, that we encountered was so kind, pleasant, attentive, and accommodating to all of our needs.

A special shoutout to the concierge team—they were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to help me pull off a beautiful birthday surprise for my boyfriend. He loved it, and I couldn’t have done it without their assistance!

We had such a wonderful experience that we’ve already decided the Waldorf Astoria will be our go to hotel whenever we return to Panama City. We can’t wait to come back! 💕✨
