Great location and lovely friendly staff, would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Location was fantastic, lovely bedrooms and staff couldn’t do enough for you

Cons:

Be prepared for loads of stairs, TBH there wasn’t anything we didn’t like, and we expected a lot of narrow steep stairs due to age of the property

Beautiful building but needs attention when it comes to cleaning and food allergy advice.

The room was well decorated and was in a great location.
The building itself is a lovely period property.

Cons:

Using the shower flooded the bathroom as the steam had nowhere to escape, the extractor fan either did not work or was not powerful enough as the steam from the shower ran down the walls and the shower itself leaked and flooded the floor behind the toilet.
The corridor leading to the bedrooms had a stagnant almost pee like smell.
The breakfast room was very dirty, when we arrived for breakfast there was a large group in the middle of the room, the breakfast bar area was covered in old food and trodden in coffee/sugar.
We had scheduled to have our breakfast 30 mins after the start of service so the area should not have been that dirty, there was no hot water or coffee and everything was covered in a layer of sugar.

Due to food allergies, I requested alternative milk and was given the milk in extremely dirty mini milk bottles.
I was shocked that both these bottles had old dried food in them so definitely not allergy friendly.
I made the waiting staff aware so they gave me the milk directly from the carton.
They did provide a gluten free breakfast but I was unsure of the cross contamination as I was unwell that evening.

Comfortable stay inn the centre of Richmond.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and quiet, the lady who checked me in was very friendly. The location right in the middle of Richmond was great

Incredible, welcoming, cozy, stunning
Pros:

Such a beautiful, warm welcoming when I arrived. Every single staff member right down to the breakfast chef were incredible. I stayed the night to go watch my sons army parade and he has his passing parade in November, I will 100% book with you again, absolutely amazing

Lovely comfortable stay.
Pros:

We stayed here whilst doing the coast to coast walk and it was a great stay. Great atmosphere, lovely comfy bed, nice and plentiful supplies of tea & coffee in the room. Lovely evening meal & great breakfast.

Cons:

Booked in double ensuite room to be given room with separate bathroom along the corridor. Just not acceptable. Only single room with ensuite available so had to take it. Most uncomfortable very warm and very uncomfortable bed
