Eka Hotel Nairobi

I had an amazing stay in Eka Hotel, nice attendants and receptionist. I highly recommend the hotel whenever you're in Nairobi!

We stayed for 2 nights in this hotel before embarking on our safari. It was around a 20 minute drive from the airport.
The rooms were very spacious and there was tea and coffee making facilities as well as toiletries provided.
On our first day we had already asked, by email, for a trip to the Giraffe Centre and the hotel concierge arranged it. The hotel vehicle was clean and the driver very informative. I think it took about 20 minutes and he arranged to collect us a few hours later - which he did (promptly). I can't remember the cost but it was very reasonable.
The food in the hotel was very good and there was a choice of buffet or a La Carte in the evening. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choice.

This hotel is very high end, rooms are great size with big walk in showers, each door had a panel to set as do not disturb and are fitted with door bells. The pool is big but very cold and has a gyms a lovely garden to walk around and outside bar. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food they have buffet and evening meal they have buffet or a la carte menu which you can choose from, food was great overall. Has a shop in hotel for souvenirs, and a little coffee/cake shop. Also has another resturant in the hotel so a choice of where to eat. Great place to stay!

A beautiful, well equipped hotel. I cannot think of any way they could have improved on this property. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! There was everything anyone could want, and everything was delicious! The room was spacious, had a large bathroom with a rain shower, and plenty of bottled water. To help recover from the 24 hour plane rides to get there, we stayed an extra night before going on safari (highly recommend!!) and I had a 45 minute head/neck/shoulder massage in the wellness center to help "unkink" my neck. We ate dinner at the hotel, as well, and that, too, was great. Staff were ALL kind, pleasant, and helpful. The property was safe, as it was surrounded by a fence, and the entrance was guarded. We did not walk outside the grounds. For exercise, use the pool or gym. We mostly rested and slept to recover from the long trip. Also, visit the gift shop. Prices for most souvenirs are pretty much the same all over Kenya, but we found the hotel gift shop had very good prices.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eka Hotel to anyone!

I was unfortunate enough to fall ill the night before I was to go 'On Safari' in Kenya and Tanzania. Fortunately that day I had transferred Eka Hotel , Nairobi . I was so well taken care of by All Members of the Staff and Management with particular thanks to Mercy the Hotel Nurse . I was in the Hotel for 10 days before I had recovered enough make the return journey to UK. I can only express my sincere thanks for the care and kindness I received together with the follow up e mails enquiring of my health and if I have arrived home safely.

The real definition of hospitality

The hotel was recommended by an Uber driver. Oh what a beautiful hotel. The room was beautiful and clean. Walking distance to the mall. The staff was friendly from the moment I stepped in until I left. I wish I could have stayed longer but I will definitely be staying here on my return to Kenya.
