Heerlijk
Pros:

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het Opera Hotel. Locatie is super. 5 minuten lopen naar het Taksim plein. Ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid. Dagelijkse wissel van gerechten. Bedden zeer comfortabel en prachtig uitzicht vanuit zowel de kamer als de ontbijt zaal. Eén speciaal bedankje aan het front-office personeel. Ze hebben ons super geholpen bij al onze vragen en met het vervoer naar de airport.

Beautiful views from clean spacious rooms
Pros:

Great location within 10 minutes walk of taksin square; and 10 minutes to T1 train or ferry to Asian side. Far enough away that rooms were quiet. Close enough to walk to good restaurants. T1 train makes it a quick trip to Old Istanbul.

Chose the Bosphorus rooms. Beautiful calming views of the Bosphorus from room and balcony. We could sit on the balcony for hours. Rooms
are spacious, clean and have wonderful bed linens.

Special kudos to courteous Bert who gave us good advice and recommendations. Other members of the staff were also kind and friendly.

We used the massage service. My masseuse was very good.

Cons:

Breakfast was plentiful but a bit dull.
Adequate with hot items, fruit, vegetables and cheeses.

Ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt mit sehr freundlichem Personal, tollem Service und einem gemütlichen Zimmer mit seitlichem
Pros:

Wir hatten ein 3-Bettzimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick und haben uns im Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der tolle Service: Als jemand von uns spät nachts noch Lust auf einen Kaffee hatte und wir keinen mehr hatten, wurde uns tatsächlich um 12 Uhr nachts noch Kaffee aufs Zimmer gebracht. So einen freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service erlebt man selten.

Cons:

Wenn man überhaupt etwas bemängeln möchte, dann auf wirklich hohem Niveau: Die Preise für die Getränke waren schon ziemlich hoch – über 16 € für einen Aperol fanden wir doch etwas schmerzhaft. Trotzdem hatten wir insgesamt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder!
