Cons:

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und wurde scheinbar seit langem nicht mehr in Stand gesetzt. Außerdem ist das Essensangebot sehr überschaubar. Frühstück ok, Lunch gibt es nicht, Dinner hat weniger im Angebot als jeder durchschnittliche Pub. Die 4 Sterne des Hotels können sich nur auf die Lage und das Personal beziehen. Das Haus und das Essen geben diese sicher nicht her. Keine gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis.

Lovely place good design good location
Nothing wrong could be better

Cons:

Seems like it's run on a shoestring budget or can't get staff.
All the staff were just kids no one around with any authority.
Room Patio hadn't had a sweep in months

A pleasant few days
Pros:

Location is incredible...staff friendly and relaxed and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and well presented.

Cons:

Our garden studio had a few minor maintenance issues that need sorting. Loose toilet seat and kitchen taps, two sticky doors, extract fan didn't work, bath waste needs unblocking. Milk was out of date.

Pros:

Beautiful location with lovely quiet outdoor area. The studio apartments are clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and seperate area to sit outside. The staff were really friendly and helpful

Sensationelle Sicht vom Garten und dem Frühstücksraum auf das Meer. Frühstück super mit breiter Auswahl an individuellen Zubereitungen. Klasse Lage fussläufig zum Dteand.

Cons:

Für den Pool muss ein separater Zeitslot von maximal 45 Minuten gebucht werden. Küchenzeile ohne Kochoption (keine Herdplatte oder Backofen)

Alles in allem hat es mir trotzdem gut gefallen. Es wäre nur schön, das Personal zu organisieren

Die Lage war sehr schön, sehr ruhig und ganz in der Nähe ein wunderbarer Strand.

Cons:

Leider war die Mannschaft sehr unorganisiert! Kein Frühstück vor 8, nicht mal einen Kaffee. Staubsaugen im Frühstücksraum während dem Frühstück war nicht so toll.

Heel aangenaam verblijf in charmant hotel op schitterende locatie !
Pros:

Het hotel ligt op een prachtige plek met een mooie tuin en uitzicht op de zee;. Daar kan je via een smal (wel steil) pad heel snel geraken. Je komt dan op een rustig zandstrand waar je kan gaan zwemmen, zonnen,.....Vlak voor het hotel konden we steeds gebruik maken van een ruime gratis parking. Het hotel straalt heel wat charme uit. We hadden helaas geen kamer met zicht op zee maar ook vanuit de ontbijtzaal had je een schitterend uitzicht. Het ontbijt was zeer verzorgd en ruim voldoende. Je kon ook dagelijks een keuze maken uit een aantal warme ontbijten die door vriendelijk personeel aan tafel werden gebracht. Ook 's avonds kon je, na het reserveren van een tafel, zeer lekker eten. Het hotel straalt rust uit maar ook de ganse omgeving doet dat waardoor wij het een bijzonder aangenaam verblijf vonden. De kamer(eigenlijk een klein duplexappartementje) war zeker ruim genoeg voor ons ( 3 personen). We beschikten over een living, twee slaapkamers en en living met keukentje en kleine maar kraaknette badkamer. Dagelijks kwam hotelpersoneel onze kamer weer helemaal in orde zetten, de bedden weer opmaken, nieuwe handdoeken in de badkamer leggen . Ze deden zelfs de afwas !!! Het binnenzwembad was zeer netjes en aangenaam, zeker warm genoeg (misschien zelfs wat te warm ;)) en kon je gratis en privé gebruiken na reservatie. Zeker een meerwaarde. We vonden het ook een bijzonder goede uitvalsbasis om dit deel van Cornwall verder te ontdekken. We kijken dan ook met veel plezier terug op ons verblijf.

Cons:

We hadden het eigenlijk heel erg naar onze zin in "The Rosevine" en dan ben je misschien al snel aan het muggenziften als je op zoek gaat naar punten van kritiek.. Die zijn er altijd en overal. Het enige dat we dan misschien willen meegeven is het gegeven dat we zeker geen fraai uitzicht hadden van uit ons appartement. We wisten natuurlijk dat we geen "zeezicht" hadden gereserveerd maar het contrast was groot. We keken uit op een lelijk plat dak vol met dode bladeren en takken, dat aansloot op het dak van het zwembad. Niet meteen iets dat je verwacht in een hotel dat verder zoveel charme heeft. Het viel ons verder ook op dat de buitenschrijnwerkerij wel eens een likje verf kon gebruiken.

The only thing going for this place is the view

Cons:

Dirty rooms which don’t get cleaned daily, broken furniture and litter all over the outside garden. Unhelpful and rude staff. A terrible hotel for the price. Do not stay here.

Beautiful location, nice hotel, but customer service does not live up to the same standard.

Service at the front desk. They are not answering calls, do not call you back (I left a couple of messages) and did not e-mail the invoice that I requested.

Really poorly run, not worth the money
Pros:

The location is stunning. Sadly that’s the only positive.

Bins not emptied despite asking 4 times
Taps, shower mixers not working
Loud boiler coming on
Not an apartment- two rooms with heavy closing fire doors everywhere that slam (not good for young children)
No bottle opener
Cot mattress folded in two as sheet provided was two small
One high chair only (we asked for two)
Food hygiene 4 stars
Beds not made upon arrival
Shutters do not block out sunlight, meaning kids don’t sleep
Sofa no springs, so uncomfortable!
