Pros:

Really, really comfy bed. Phenomenal sea view from both windows, we were in a quad family room. Breakfast was really good, full English and continental offering. Superb value for money.
Well stocked bar with 3 well kept real ales.

Cons:

Thin floors so could hear the elephants upstairs. We were on second floor, but no lift.

Good stay
Pros:

We were already in scarborough and decided to see if we could book somewhere for one night and this hotel came up,hotel in a good location easy walk to town and sea front,the room we got had sea front view and was quite spacious,everything you need for your stay,kettle,plenty of coffee/tea/towels,soaps,shampoo etc beds comfy, nice clean bedding,also didn't hear any noise so good night's sleep,good choice of breakfast in morning selection of tea,coffee, cereal,toast,selection of jams and a cooked breakfast one item of everything,staff friendly,building in parts a bit dated but didn't effect our stay,for the price you can't complain,would definitely stay again.

Pros:

Lovely breakfast cooked to order. Perfect location. The room was enormous.

Cons:

The family room for 4's bathroom was fine but the door was difficult to open and close sometimes and the toilet didn't always flush properly, presumably due to the water pressure.

I love it as it was very spacious and we had our own toilet the beds were comfortable my children loved it had a lot of cupboards and wardrobes to put your clothes but overall it was nice

Cons:

This hotel is extremely in need of renovation, very tired. Room was very noisy, we could hear the quiz downstairs as if it was in our room. Breakfast was included and we went down at 09:10 to be told that it finished at 09:00! We weren't told on checking in this information so we weren't happy as we chose this hotel for this reason.

I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family, and I would definitely go back value for money
Pros:

The Highlander was clean. The rooms were very big and spacious with a sea view. The staff was very friendly and approachable and the breakfast was lovely. I haven’t got one complaint about my stay.
