This hotel is a gem and a great value for a trip on a budget.
Pros:

We have stayed here twice now in 4 months and are from several states away. The staff are friendly and attentive, the hotel is exceptionally clean (there is always an employee doing above and beyond tidying up), and the location right on Lake Superior is both beautiful and quiet. They have flyers with local activities for guests to partake in (we did the drop-in curling and it was a fantastic time). Downtown is walkable. We were there during the renovation and LOVED what they did with the breakfast area. the windows to the lake are fantastic. The rooms are nice and updated but not too"over the top" (possibly making prices go up too much). The shower is great, the beds are comfortable. I have traveled extensively in the US in my life and this is top notch value for the money.

nice location, very attentive and friendly staff. Very clean ! There was always someone cleaning and tidying up all day long.

Cons:

booking.com had the king suite listed as water view which it is not. manager made a adjustment so we had water view.

I love this Hotel
Pros:

Being on the water. Being able to have a sliding glass door to go outside.

I am recommending this inn to my family and friends when they visit Marquette.
Pros:

Excellent location. The staff working the breakfast buffet were very friendly and kept the meal well stocked and clean.

Things were being upgraded so the pool and hot were closed, as well as the bathrooms on the first floor.
We think they should have ADA toilets !!

Clean, canine friendly. Overpriced
Pros:

Fairly new and clean property with lake view.
Canine friendly.
Walking trails along harbor.
Veggie omelette and oatmeal included for breakfast.

Cons:

Bathroom lighting isn’t good. No makeup mirror. Water unfriendly toward salon treated hair.
Socially conscious toiletries weren’t hair friendly either.
Lots of foot, bike and car traffic outside.
Powdered eggs made an appearance at breakfast.
