Breakfast was nice.
We booked a deluxe room but were disappointed to find that, apart from being quite spacious, there was very little to distinguish it from a standard room. Perhaps our expectations were too high, as we had understood the hotel to be more on the luxury side.
The bed was large, but it consisted of two separate mattresses, and my wife found the gap between them uncomfortable and difficult to avoid while sleeping.
The room was also quite warm, particularly as there was no air conditioning. Overall, we felt that the room didn’t quite live up to our expectations of a deluxe room at a hotel of this standard.

Unfortunately gas outage so no hot breakfast first morning ,not their fault but none the less disappointed, made it an expensive breakfast.
Trouble with tvs so couldn't get some channels.
Safe drawer was sticking so spent 10 minutes trying to get our things out.

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and lovely for a stroll. The restaurant and bar was very nice with a lovely breakfast included. Dinner was good but very dark in the restaraunt. It was hard to read the menu at times.
Our room! 2nd Floor in Willow Block. Quite a basic room for the price we paid. The weather during our stay was only low twenties but the room was like an oven! No air con and no sleep due to the heat!. Even the spare pillows must have been against a wall that radiated heat as one side of the pillow was hot when we took it off of the shelf. I dread to think how bad the room would have been over the summer.
The spa is good well maintained
The room very disappointed even paid for an upgraded room and just was awful tiny hard bed partner ended up sleeping on the floor it was ridiculous hot and the tiny fan supplied didnt cut it
Dinner was exceptional, breakfast very tasty/easy. Rooms spotless, and the team 'went the extra mile' to acknowledge my Birthday. All spa areas were in working order - outdoor gardens beautiful.
The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. In particular the man working around the pool works endlessly keeping it spotless.

Facilities are a little tired, tiles missing in the pool etc. i think in general the hotel looks a bit tired compared to the previous 2 years I've been.
I think if water was provided in the rooms that would be a great touch, and a coffee machine too would be an added bonus.
The toilet flush in our room took 2 hands to try and flush it.
The service was good in the restaurant apart from the amount of time it takes for drinks and in particulardesert.. i'm not sure what the delays is but has happened 2 years in a row.
I love the location by the coast, the spa facilities were impressive with lots of sun loungers and the staff extra friendly in all areas! The room was beautiful with everything you could need. The breakfast was also amazing.
I do wish the food menu was a little bit more varied and less pricey for lunch and dinner
