- very firm mattress, bed was difficult to sleep on
- the chairs and sofas in the rooms needs to be changed, they are now quite aged and worn out
- the floors on the ground floor is cracked in many places and presents a falls hazrd, ideally the floor tiles need to be repaced or the floor should be carpeted
- difficult to get a hot drink such as tea or coffe outside of set hours, a coffe cart neart the entrancewould be useful
- no in room dining service
Very comfortable room and a fantastic water park. My child enjoyed the water slides immensely since the wait times were short — she liked it even more than Tokyo Summerland! Everything overall was above expectation, except for the food.
The dinner and breakfast buffets were disappointing and fell below our expectations.
I chose this hotel for part of our family (two kids) summer vacation in Japan specifically for its water facilities, expecting a modern experience based on the online photos and descriptions. I also paid a premium for a large room to accommodate the four of us comfortably. Regrettably, both the room size/layout and the condition of the pools fell very short of our expectations, making it a disappointing stay for our family. But let's start with the positive things.
Despite these major flaws, our family still managed to have a good time and in our judgement the water in the pools seemed clean. In addition it was a plus from our perspective that there weren't that many guests. Hence, no crowds in the pool area other than Saturday afternoon.
We enjoyed the food served for breakfast. It was not fancy but liked the local dishes.
However, management desperately needs to update their photos on Booking.com and the hotels own website to reflect reality and lower their prices to match the actual quality. If expectations were set correctly, guests wouldn't leave feeling cheated like we did.
Hotel Condition & Water Facilities
> Lack of Maintenance: The entire property feels neglected, as if it hasn't been updated or properly maintained in 20 years.
> Worn Swimming Area: The pool facilities are extremely run-down, highlighted by rusted staircases on the water slides and bare, leaf-less fake palm tree trunks in the pool area.
> Closed Amenities: The largest waterslide was kept closed for almost our entire stay, management's excuse being that there were too few guests to justify opening it.
Room Comfort & Layout
> Cramped Space: To accommodate four people, two sofa beds were crowded into a room that already had two large beds, leaving virtually no floor space.
> Poor Setup for Long Stays: While this cramped "dorm room" setup might be tolerable for a single night, it was incredibly uncomfortable for a four-night stay. If a hotel charge a significant premium for a family room then they also have to provide a room which actually fits a family.
Service & Dining
> Language Barrier: The hotel staff spoke exceptionally poor English, making basic communication difficult.
> Unkept Dining Area: The restaurant looked exhausted, and buffet refills were completely random; one morning, the coffee machine ran out of milk 45 minutes before breakfast ended and was never refilled.
> Gimmicks: The heavily advertised "cookie factory" concept was an absolute joke, though this mattered less to us.
Atmosphere & Environment
> Tacky Gambling Zone: The arcade and gambling area situated between the hotel and the pool is incredibly tacky and tasteless, heavily dragging down the overall vibe of the resort.
> Outdated Decor: The furniture throughout the entire hotel is old, worn out, and visually unappealing.
> High-chairs for kids in the dining area: As a telling observation there seemed to be at least four different models of different ages and quality.

プールとホテルがちょっと距離があり子どもの足では何度も行ききが難しい。
A great place for families with young children. Toddlers will especially love it. Dining options are quite limited on weekdays, but there is a 7-Eleven about a 10-minute walk away (and shopping center about 30-min walk away). The resort is starting to show its age, but everything is very clean and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout the property.

いつも帰国のたびに利用しています。今回は日本語が話せない義両親のために私が予約していました。私は義両親と別の部屋に宿泊。家族で宿泊した3泊の最後の夕食時に義両親から、”部屋がタバコ臭くて窓を開けてやっと寝られたよ、、喫煙部屋を予約したのね”と言われて、私は禁煙部屋を予約したつもりだったので、フロントで禁煙部屋だったことを確認しました。全室禁煙だそうで、そのことを義両親に伝えました。だとすると前に泊まった人がこっそり喫煙したとしか思えない強いたばこ臭だから、禁煙を注意喚起するとか、気をつけたほうがいいよとフロントの方に伝えておいて。とのことでした。
その旨をフロントに伝え、睡眠するために別の部屋に移れるがどうしますかとオファーされましたが、義両親はあと一泊だしこのままでいいとのことでその話は終わったのですが、
前に宿泊した方のマナーの問題ではありますが、そんなに匂いが残っていたら、禁煙で予約しているお客さまをいれるべきでないのでは？お掃除の方の段階でフロントに報告するなどできなかったのかなあ、と残念です。
うちの家族は喫煙者がいません。オーストラリアから旅行して北海道まで来た義両親が快適に過ごせるようにと禁煙部屋を予約したので、そこだけ残念でした。

私自身が原因でしたが、（入浴チケット紛失に寄り、再発行をお願いしてしまった。）
フロントの女性スタッフから部屋番号を提示の旨を説明された際に聞き取れなかったので聞き返す仕草を致しましたら、強い口調で部屋番号は⁇と聞き返されてしまいました。
正直びっくり致しました。私に原因があったにしろ、不快な気持ちになりました。
客は神では無いですが、あんな強い口調だと意図が無くても誤解を招く物だと思います。
ホテルは定期的に利用させて頂いておりますが、次回以降はその女性スタッフを避けたいと思います。若手ではなく、中堅〜ベテランのスタッフだったと感じました。とても気が強そうな感じが見受けられました。
部屋がとても広くて窓からのロケーションも最高でした。
朝食会場も広いので待ちがなく、ゆっくりと朝食を取れました。デザートのケーキは流石という感じで美味しかった。ベッドの硬さも硬めでとても寝やすかった。
お風呂がガラス張りだとトイレに入れないこと。
お風呂のテレビが映らなかったので使えなかった。
お風呂のタイルのカビが多すぎたのが残念ですね。
