The Terrace Hotel

L’accueil déplorable ! Le chef de réception n’a pas les compétences pour diriger un 4 étoiles. Nous n’avons pas été accueillis le 1er jour par la réception, mais par le barman, pas de bagagerie pour garder les bagages jusqu’à l’heure du check in et du check out. Nous sommes arrivés de l’aéroport à 11h du matin et notre avion étant à 19h30 le jour du départ, ils n’ont pas voulu garder nos bagages jusqu’à notre départ de Perth vers 16h. Nous avons payé un supplément de 90 dollars pour garder la chambre jusqu’à 16h mais ils nous ont mis à la porte de l’hôtel à 11h du matin en nous disant que le lundi du week-end de l’ANZAC, l’hôtel était fermé alors qu’ils avaient au moins un cliente à l’intérieur avec laquelle nous avons parlé. Aucun personnel présent dans l’hôtel. Quand nous avons dit que nous avions payé 90 euros pour rester dans l’hôtel jusqu’à 16 h et pouvoir nous reposer avant les 30h de voyage pour rentrer en France, le chef de réception a menacé d’appeler la police si nous sortions pas immédiatement de l’hôtel ! Les 90 dollars ne nous ont pas été remboursés.

Room was quite dusty

A couple of minor problems with the room when we arrived were promptly rectified. Jade and Ryan couldn't have been more obliging and cooperative. Check-in time restricted and no dedocated check-in desk, but that was only a very minor inconvenience. Our luggage was stored until we could check in.

Overall the hotel facilities have not been cleaned for long time, the stairwell was full of dirt the handrail was so dirty that one could write on it. The carpets looked dirty, there was a very stale smell in all premises, smell of dust. Once we made it to the room it was even more astonishing. Again the carpeted floor looked dirty and dusty, the bathroom floor looked like it had not been cleaned for ages, around the bath tub the were lines of dirt and crumbles. The cabinet where the fridge and cup are stored was invested with small cockroaches, overall very disappointing as it is such a beautiful building.

When I booked its said "with Terrace" but the Terrace in the room was blocked off and locked up..

Parking is a little difficult, close car parks expensive

Was charged $45 after checking out for a hairdryer that "was taken". Contacted them twice via message and call to double-check the room, as I recalled never seeing or using one during my stay. They never followed up.

The curtains were insufficient in blocking out the LED screen across the road at night.

Be prepared to wait during check-in. The process was done at the bar where their staff were swamped attending to customers' orders.

正直、日本人のコメントが良く、朝食無料につられて５泊宿泊しました。もう最悪なホテルです。
立地と朝食は良かったです。


ただ、朝食はよくあるブッフェタイプではなく、
例えるなら喫茶店のモーニング5種類から選ぶタイプ。


私のような思いをしてほしくないから、
正直にこのホテルについて書きます。


ホコリっぽいし、変なにおいするし。
何より、フロントは一度も会いません(笑)


ゴキブリが何度も出ました。
1階がレストランだから仕方ないのかな。

下のレストランが本業で、レストランのスタッフがタオルだけ補充してるのか？って思いました。


とにかくホテルの部屋は全く掃除してないのか？
あちこちホコリだらけ。


夜は、寒いので毛布もらいたくても、
フロントいないので話にならない。

これで4つ星？嘘だろ？(笑)

正直、このレベルで５泊12.13万円だと、
高いと思います。

後々、パース駅近くのキレイなビジネスホテルが５泊で88000くらいだったので、
そちらに宿泊すれば良かったと後悔しました。
