We stayed in a junior suite with a sea view and its own pool - the room was very close to the road, which meant we could see/hear cars and people could see in as they walked past or waited outside the hotel for a taxi. We did ask to change rooms, the hotel were helpful and tried to move us but were unable to as they were fully booked. This was the only negative of our trip.
The pool area is outstanding. Breathtaking views and lovely pools to choose from.
The beach is drive, there isn’t a beach to walk too.
The staff are not knowledgeable at all, they are young and have no experience it seems in hospitality. When you ask for a gin & tonic you have to show them what you want as they don’t know and the tonic is always flat!
The food is well below par .. the coffee at breakfast is from a machine and is terrible!
The buffet breakfast is what you’d expect but not .. they serve tinned fruit, that’s not 5 star.
We had to ask for things in our room as housekeeping is also not 5 start.
I have a food allergy and they could not have been more accommodating, walking me through the buffet, suggesting alternatives and even making one off desserts. Traveling with a food allergy can be really stressful and I can get quite anxious when somewhere new, but for how I was looked after on this point alone I would stay time and time again.
Bottled water was expensive, but nearby Elouda you can purchase instead

The pool was lovely, and there were always sun beds.
Coffee at breakfast was not only awful, but the whole drink system took too long, and breakfast choices didn’t change (it became monotonous). Why there isn’t a better coffee system is mind blowing.
A/C didn’t get cool enough in the bedroom and jacuzzi wasn’t cleaned (yellow scum).

La chambre était située dans les premiers niveaux, proche de la route principale et de la génératrice de courant qui fonctionnait si perte de courant principal, donc bruit indésirable lié à la route proche et la génératrice si celle-ci se mettait en marche. Le frigo de la chambre faisait trop de bruit.
The food and service at both the pool and breakfast are really not that great
Such a lovely hotel, wonderful location overlooking the Gulf of Elounda with views across to Spinalonga Island. The pools are amazing, lovely atmosphere around the pool bars and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. Breakfast are served with a view to die for ! Rooms are modern, stylish and well equipped. A great choice if you are visiting this part of Crete.
I’d have liked the omelets cooking a little longer, that’s all I can think of !

Bedrooms well decorated and very spacious with amazing balcony with jacuzzi facing the most beautiful mountain and sea view I’ve ever experienced.
Restaurant offers a wide range of variety and is very tasty.
Staff is competent and always looking for ways to improve your experience or help you with anything.
Facilities are perfect: wonderful swimming pool space with comfortable sun beds, 5 swimming pools and great outdoors bar.
