DoubleTree by Hilton Bogota Parque 93

Upon arrival we were met with the night shift front desk attendant. He not only put us in another persons room and completely embarrassed us but he refused to accept his mistake and wouldn’t put us in the correct room as our reservation. When I confronted the night shift front desk attendant, he attempted to make excuses as to why he put us in someone else’s room and made it seem as if we did something wrong. He then argued about our reservation and made us very uneasy about staying here. The next day I visited with the front desk attendant again. This time it was a very polite attentive young woman. She addressed all of our concerns and gave us our third room. She was exceptional and fell right in line with our expectations.

The air conditioners in both rooms operated at a lukewarm 23 degree and never cooled our room. We elected to open the sliding doors to cool our room and on our third night the room was finally cool enough to sleep well. I may note that our calls for assistance on cooling our room were never fulfilled.
Breakfast, this wasn’t our first time at your establishment but the breakfast was something we paid extra for and used only once. Our previous stays at parque 93 doubletree was exceptional. In October 2025 we were pleased in every way but this experience will certainly boost us to find another establishment to meet our needs.

Food was good, hotel was clean, quiet and in a good neighborhood.

What started as a short two-night stay at DoubleTree Bogotá Parque 93 turned into five nights, mainly because of the wonderful team at the hotel.

There was a small issue with my original room at check-in, but Carlos, the Front Office Manager, handled it quickly and professionally, making sure I was taken care of. Once settled, I was very pleased with the room. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the sheets and pillowcases were excellent. I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in quite a while.

The restaurant and bar staff were definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Andrés, Nuri, and Stiven worked so well together and brought a level of warmth and service that really stood out. Stiven especially has a great personality and made the experience fun. I truly hope he gets the opportunity to work on a cruise ship one day, because he would be a natural fit and would do very well.

Alexander, the Captain in the restaurant, also made a great impression. He was attentive, welcoming, and clearly made an effort to ensure guests were enjoying themselves. What impressed me most was seeing that he treated every guest with that same care and attention.

At the front desk, Alejandra was calm, professional, and efficient. She may have a more reserved personality, but she clearly knows what she is doing and handles her work with confidence. Amelia was another standout. I am not exactly sure of her role, but she was often visible throughout the hotel, always pleasant, and whenever I casually mentioned something I needed, she made sure it was followed up on.

By the end of my stay, the hotel felt less like just another stop and more like a place where the staff genuinely cared. DoubleTree Bogotá Parque 93 is very fortunate to have this team, and honestly, other hotels in Colombia would be lucky to have employees like these.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews and wait to see if things get better with the passing of days, but here everything is getting worse. Our experience from front desk to restaurant had been terrible (With the exception of Nuri Ricaurte, she has been extremely nice and helpful). They never acknowledged you, during breakfast we waited 20 min before someone came and offered coffee, needless to say that there were only two other tables there. We came this afternoon and asked the front desk if he could place a request for someone to bring ice to the room, he said that we needed to come to the room and call room service and do it myself, again no body else was there, so he was not busy and like that so many complaints of poor customer service. We stayed here before and had a very good experience, but definitely this new staff need to learn some manners and customer service before dealing with guests.

El hotel se encuentra en una excelente ubicación, muy cerca de todo lo de mayor interés en la ciudad, el desayuno esta bien aunque podría ser mejor

Phenomenal staff and service. I would personally stay at this hotel again as the staff is attentive to your every need and make you feel at home.
