Mercer Hotel Barcelona

Everything about this hotel is top notch. From check in to check out, everyone was attentive and went the extra mile. We loved the character of hotel and it was in the perfect location for food and shopping. Mario and Rodrigo were the best! Would definitely be our first choice when we come back to Barcelona.

This was our first time to this hotel and it surpassed all expectations. Quiet, cozy, impeccable food, wonderful service. Anything you wanted just a call away. We stayed in their top suite- not to miss. The breakfast was phenomenal. The staff courteous. It was within walking distance of everything. Don’t miss this gem!

The staff are extremely helpful and courteous, the hotel is modern and elegant, the beds and pillows are very comftorable and the breakfast is superb! You really cpuldn't ask for more. It's located in the gotgic quarter, so it makes traveling by taxi a little complicated, but bein immersed in the small quiet village is well worth it!

From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the attention to detail and personal help showered on us by all staff. Simply amazing and the friendliness of the staff is what truly makes this hotel and absolute jewel, and that is that you are already finding a hotel with beautiful rooms and restaurant maintaining some of the original walls of the Roman structure in the heart of the city. Stefano came to meet us as we got dropped of close to the hotel ( there is a short walk from where the cars can get to) and Luca and his colleagues at the front desk always tried their utmost to help, get you the best service or local indications to anything that you sre looking for. And if you are looking for a place where you can walk to great boutiques, the Cathedral, great coffee shopping and restaurants, a short stroll to the Marina, we can't imagine that this location and hotel could be beat. Would stay here again in a heatt beat!

If you are looking for a wonderful hotel to stay in Barcelona and Seville, the Mercer Hotel is where you should book. The AC is unparalleled to any you’ll find anywhere else in Europe. My husband and I highly recommend staying with Mercer Hotel due to the incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff (shout out to Mario), great amenities, and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel is also situated in a prime location of the Gothic Quarter; everything you would like to visit is found within a 10-min walk and taxis are widely accessible if you’d like to travel farther around the city.

Beautiful hotel in a great location in Barcelona. Able to walk everywhere. Top notch friendly service. Rooftop pool was a hit for kids.

I’m currently sitting at the roof top pool having a drink while I write this. When we arrived early our rooms were ready. Glass of cava and warmth like we were old friends. The environment is calm and relaxing. Rooms were perfect; bed amazing, pillows perfect and shower water perfect. They left us a lovely treat the first night and the breakfasts were amazing.

Located very conveniently in a beautiful street in the Gothic quarter. Close to the cathedral, shoreline and lots of restaurants. A lovely hotel with a small but functional pool, bar and sunbeds on the roof. Very attentive staff helped us with our various requests. Only comment would be that the lighting in our room was on the dark side but provided a very quiet and tranquil oasis in an otherwise busy city of Barcelona.

A lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. The breakfast in the courtyard was amazing, both the food and the service were very good. The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful arranging taxis, directions and booking sightseeing venues. The bedroom was well appointed and the bed was really very comfy. Despite its central location the hotel was very quiet. We loved the rooftop terrace where you can cool down in the pool and there's a bar and snack service. There is also a gr8 view over the city of Barcelona.
All round a wonderful hotel, we will definitely visit again next time we're in Barcelona.

We’ve found our new Barcelona hotel. Location, rooms, people/service, rooftop, food and drinks, all perfection. Thank you Paul, Mario, Luca, Julian—everyone, really.

Excellent location literally built into the medieval wall and quiet because it is surrounded by traffic free passageways. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff and comprehensive breakfast if you require it. Roof top plunge pool and deck provide somewhere to relax as few rooms have balconies. Plenty of table and subbed availability. Roof top bar is not staffed as it is normally quiet but a phone should be provided as there is no convenient way to enjoy a drink on the roof top. Despite being built into a historic site rooms are comfortable, well appointed, clean and modern with air conditioning.
