Enjoyable and relaxing.
Pros:

Breakfast offered by the hotel was excellent value for those who wanted to take advantage of the special rate offered if you had breakfast at the hotel every day of your stay. A little bit high on price for one-off. Location excellent for all Barcelona's best attractions - everything within easy walking distance. Room was lovely and big, cleaned every day. Staff welcoming and very helpful. It felt very safe walking around the area of the hotel. We were able to check in early as our rooms were ready. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hotel on check out day, as we had a late flight (10 pm). This meant we could have another full day of sightseeing/beach without paying for luggage storage or having to lug cases around with us. If it had been raining, the temporary door pass would have enabled us to sit in the lobby area of the hotel and read a book or use Wi-Fi rather than having to wander around in the rain. We were very lucky to have sunny weather on our last day so were able to spend the day at the beach, return to the luggage store, change from beach wear to flight home clothes. Really handy.

Cons:

Nothing negative that I can think of, I would definitely stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Barcelona.
