The stay was okay and for what we payed it was expected suitable for staying 1 or 2 nights.

Location was great and the facilities were okay for what we payed.

Cons:

No AC in the room which made sleeping at night hard while 25-30 degrees outside. Stayed in room facing the street which would be noisy until late at night.

Er hat gefallen dass ich den Aufzug zweimal benutzen konnte es überlebt habe.

Cons:

Die Zimmer dürften zuletzt in den 80er Jahren renoviert worden sein. Der deckenventilator (wir sprechen hier natürlich nicht von einer air condition) ließ sich nicht einschalten was den Mann an der Rezeption aber auch nicht weiter zu irgendwelchen Aktivitäten getrieben hätte.

Great location for Hyde Park
Pros:

It was a great location 15 minutes walk from Paddington station and 10 minutes to Hyde Park

Cons:

I wanted to confirm the booking so I emailed no reply. I rang and rang but never got an answer until the morning of the stay.
When I got there it took forever to convince her of my name she was adamant it was another similar sounding name.
Finally got my booking (she blamed me for not knowing what my name is) then she proceeded to "find" a room.
It was a twin I booked and it didn't resemble the photos at all⅞. The room had 2 singles pushed into a corner, but the bedding was clean. Everything was tired but about what I expected. The bathroom had seen better days. The sink only had cold water and the "shower" only had hot.
There was no kettle but it did have tea, coffee ect. The coffee sachets were out of date, teabags in a plastic cup uncovered. So we wouldn't have been able to use them anyway.
All in, it was the location that saved the day.

Cons:

Værelset var fint, Gammelt, men sådan er det jo.
Gad godt ha vist at der kun var engelsk stik til opladning, men det er jo det mindste problem at fikse.
Værelset trængte til en hovedrengøring! Der var tykt støv lag på kanten af fliserne i badeværelset og bruseren byrde ja været afkalket for længe! siden.

Pros:

The only good thing about this hotel is the location

Cons:

I booked this hotel as it’s one of the few budget hotels that offers a lift ! This however was not working and I was on the third floor .
There was a thudding noise that kept me awake all night long ! No phone in room as advertised so couldn’t call reception to complain and was unable to walk up and down three flights again due to a bad knee .
The room I was told was an upgrade to a twin as I’d booked a single for the night , I dread to think what the single was like if this was an upgrade ! The room was not clean dust everywhere and chipped paintwork , unpleasant marks up the wall next to the bed !
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are extremely desperate
Falls very short of its three star rating and way over priced for what you get , in dyer need of a complete restoration !!
Only plus are the friendly staff
