Riva Surya Bangkok

Our go to holiday hotel in Bangkok for a number of years now. I would never go back to staying in the busy part of the city. The only downfall some may find is there is no BTS or subway in this area. Staying on the river more than makes up for up for it and is a great means of transport. One thing we love about hotels that retain their staff which this hotel does, it is like going to see family. Shows great management.
If you can I would highly recommend a river room, especially with a balcony as it is soothing to watch the river life. Our room was spacious and love the super comfortable bed and good pressure in the shower. House keeping is very efficient and flexible around us. Once again my husband was spoilt by management as we are always there on his birthday.
The Restaurant has a nice outdoor area overlooking the river and a fresh indoor air cond part. Special thanks to the team we saw most there, Bee, Non (my coffee man), Tim (my cocktail gem), Mint, proud and Noon. Food there is delicious, and breakfast is varied, especially considering it is not a busy time. The day/night menu is a great mix of tapas, western and Thai options. When we come back in July on our way home, I already know what I want to try as I never got the chance to try all the things I liked the look of.
Front desk staff definitely live up to "the land of smiles" And once again the same staff that always remember us. Thanks to the team we mostly saw, Mila, Man, Hobbie and Moo Dang. We missed seeing Pi ow this year but hopefully we will next month. We are coming back on the final leg of holiday next month and will look forward to it. We don't use the pool as are out and about a bit rather than chilling around, but it is sparkling clean and inviting. I love the special touches in the front desk area, the lovely refreshing water to have when you come and go and the peppermint freshness of the toilets. The location of the hotel is great if you want to check out the lively Khao San road area but personally i would suggest the area on both sides of the road not far Soi Rambuttri. Lots of cafes and restaurants within steps of the hotel. This hotel never lets us down and love the fact we can come on holiday knowing we will be staying at a place that ticks all our boxes. Номер с балконом и видом на реку. Очень удобная кровать, выбор подушек. Чисто, удобно, комфортно.
Завтраки-платно, вкусные. Много овощей, фруктов. Очень понравился кофе.
Небольшой бассейн с прекрасным видом на реку.

I live in Bangkok and have visited this hotel, many times over the years, it’s one of my favorite weekend getaways, and also whenever I have friends visiting Thailand, I always like to invite them here.

We found a lot to love about this hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The location next door to n13 was convenient for easy access to sites downriver. We had read other reviews saying it could get 'noisy' in this authentic Bangkok neighbourhood (a 10 minute walk to Kaosahn Rd) but we found the hotel to be quiet and slept like babies. A wonderful find!

We recently stayed for two nights at the Riva Surya and were very impressed.We stayed in a Premium River View room with a balcony.
The room was spacious and very comfortable with excellent facilities. A balcony room is definitely worth booking as we really enjoyed watching the constant activity on the river.
The breakfast was very good,the swimming pool looked very inviting and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is well located with nearby access to ferries and many of Bangkok's main attractions.

I originally planned to stay 4 nights at Riva Surya but ended up staying 15 days. The service and kindness of the all staff, reception,housecleaning and restaurant was consistently outstanding. Wonderful breakfast buffet also. The location right on the river,steps away from Phra Arthit pier,was so convenient. Without a doubt I will return to this property.

Cudowny basen, widok z pokoju narożnego niesamowity. Dobre śniadania. Lokalizacja do zwiedzania idealna, blisko przystanku łodzi i ulic hao San Road i Rumbutturi Road. Ale na najwyższą ocenę zasługuje personel. Reagujący na każdą nawet trudniejszą sytuację ekspresowo i wychodzący z inicjatywą (zepsuta klima w pokoju). Bardzo dziękujemy za taką postawę.

I recently stayed at Riva Surya Bangkok and thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the river, with a river boat stop just a minute or two away, making it easy to explore Bangkok. There is also a 7-Eleven within walking distance, which was very convenient.

The staff were welcoming and provided excellent service throughout my stay. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the river. Watching the boats go by was a real highlight.

I ate at the hotel restaurant for both breakfast and dinner on several occasions and was impressed by the quality of the food. The breakfasts offered a good selection, and the evening meals were consistently enjoyable.

One thing to be aware of is that the river remains active throughout the day and night, so there is some noise from passing boats. This did not bother me at all, but guests who are particularly sensitive to noise may wish to take this into consideration.

My only suggestion for improvement would be the appearance of the top-floor lobby area. During my stay, several spare beds were being stored there, which slightly detracted from the otherwise polished feel of the hotel.

Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend Riva Surya to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service and beautiful river views.

A lovely and comfortable stay in Bangkok. The room was a great size and the restaurant served yummy food when we arrived late. We loved the pool area and views of the river. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Abbiamo soggiornato al Riva Surya Hotel di Bangkok e non possiamo che fare i complimenti a tutta la struttura. È un hotel davvero splendido e dotato di tutti i servizi necessari per un soggiorno perfetto.
Ecco cosa ci ha colpito di più:
La camera: Fantastica, spaziosa e con una pulizia davvero super e impeccabile in ogni angolo.
I dettagli che fanno la differenza: Kit di cortesia completissimo (comprensivo di spazzolini e dentifricio, cosa non sempre scontata) e una dotazione perfetta di biancheria, sia con i morbidi asciugamani per la doccia sia con quelli dedicati per la piscina.
La cucina: La colazione è semplicemente "super top", con tantissima scelta e prodotti di qualità. Inoltre, da italiani esigenti quali siamo, dobbiamo fare un plauso speciale: la pizza era fantastica! Un vero tocco di casa fatto a regola d'arte.
Consigliatissimo a chiunque visiti Bangkok e cerchi comfort, ottimi servizi e una cura del cliente eccezionale.

The Riva Surya is a quite and relaxing hotel with nice view on The Chao Phraya River in old town Bangkok.
I really enjoyed the well prepared and tasty food in the restaurant.
The staff was always careing and helpful.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel with a chic, aesthetic feel. Excellent proximity to the ferry made getting around very convenient, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. A comfortable and well-located stay overall.
