Away from public transportation. Not a lot of tourist. Location to everything.

Great small hotel with very friendly staff, nice pool and bar area overlooking the river. Great location for the Grand Palace and the other sites nearby.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the older part of Bangkok. The rooms are spacious and we had a view of the river which was very nice. The staff are kind and helpful. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby and the hotel is near the pier for taking water taxis.

The location is very nice and quiet, the room layout is also very nice and comfortable. The service is good and the team are very supportive and polite.

왕궁에 걸어서 갈 수 있고 길 건너면 람부뜨리 로드, 프리아팃 선착장과도 가까워 여행하기 편했다. 테라스 있는 방이었는데 강구경 배구경 비구경 모두 즐거운 경험이었다. 호텔 레스토랑에서 야경보며 한잔하기 좋았다.

We liked the service and location in relation to Beit Chabad. The amount of service received was in line with the price.

The Hotel is located perfectly directly near the river, the rooms are big and clean, no noice in the night for Bangkok, the price is really fair and the pool is nice.

What a wonderful place. From the welcome at checkin, to the beautiful pool overlooking the river, complete breakfast options, and well appointed rooms, I woudl return here without a doubt. Walking distance to touristy nightlife and shops 10 minutes away, the are is more traditional Bangkok. Its a far cry from the modern malls and 5 star hotels elsewhere in Bangkok.

Riva Surya Bangkok is a wonderful boutique-style hotel in an excellent location beside the Chao Phraya River. Although it is close to Khao San Road and many of Bangkok’s historic attractions, the hotel itself feels peaceful and relaxing.

I stayed in a Premium Riva Room, which was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The private balcony overlooking the river was one of the highlights of the room and provided a lovely place to sit and watch the boats go by. The bed was firm but still very comfortable, the pillows were excellent, and the blackout curtains did a very good job of keeping the room dark. The shower also had good water pressure and a comfortable temperature.

The riverside swimming pool is attractive and creates a pleasant place to relax, especially later in the day. The food also did not disappoint. I enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner, and dining beside the river added considerably to the overall experience.

Service throughout my stay was very good. Staff members were polite, attentive and professional, and I particularly noticed how they would step aside and greet guests properly when passing.

Riva Surya may not be one of Bangkok’s largest hotels, but it offers a strong combination of comfort, service, food, atmosphere and location. This hotel genuinely packs a punch, and I would happily recommend it to travellers looking for a more personal riverside stay in Bangkok.

Perfect location! Kindest and most helpful staff. Nice rooms and pool. Really great breakfast buffet. I will most definitely recommend staying at Riva Surya Bangkok and I would love to stay there again if I return to Bangkok!
