It's all about the view!
Pros:

Location location location! It's right in the centre of the old port surrounded by good places to eat, drink, and shop for souvenirs. The staff team were all very pleasant, and the room was clean and fresh, if somewhat basic. The bed was very comfortable. We had the good fortune to have a full view of the harbour. It's remarkably good value for the location.

Cons:

The shower area was very small, and the decor a little dated, but everything worked, and it was clean. The great view came with the noise of a popular and lively hub for food and drink, but it didn't keep us awake for too long.

Very happy. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Everything worked. I am disabled and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to use the shower,but it was ideal for me. The room was very clean and in a good position for sea views and people watching.i

Cons:

The hotel was advertised as basic (no breakfast) so we knew what to expect.

A room with a view (to die for)
Pros:

The hotel is obviously old and a bit dated and the rooms could do with a bit of a refurbishment but was very clean with crisp, white sheets and towels and the room was cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and helpful and the view just could not have been bettered, it was marvelous, an ideally situated place but just one thing spoiled a very nice hotel, see below

Cons:

The one thing that spoiled the experience was the lack of a shower or bath!!
Instead in our particular room I do not know if all the rooms were the same, what we got was a toilet, a sink with mirror and a very old very high sided half size tub that was further halved by a step that seemed to imply a seat.
My husband is a very tall man aged 78 and he could just squeeze himself into this with considerable difficulty and careful striding to get legs over the tub side. There was nothing to hold onto to aid getting in or out. When you are our ages you are just not supple enough to climb and stride about like this, especially when you are wet.
I am 74 and I tried to sit down but could not stand up once I had washed. There was nothing to grab onto to help with getting up of the floor of tub.
If you tried to shower standing up you had to hold the shower rose with one hand and wash with the other and the floor got soaked in the process which again was hazardous, no handrails to aid climbing out over high sides of tub in order to step out onto wet, slippy floor. If we had slipped or tripped getting out of this tub there would have been a serious accident.
We ended up having to bend over tub to wash our hair and then using the sink to have a wash down which was just not nice or acceptable really.
After a hot day a shower is usually a pleasant experience, unfortunately, this was quite the opposite!!

Balcon minuscule avec 1 chaise pour 3,autant ne rien mettre quand le balcon est aussi petit. Je n'appelle pas ca un balcon.
Dans la salle de bain, c'est tellement petit qu'on a l'imprede d'aller aux toilettes dans la douche

Pros:

Sehr solides Hotel alter Schule am Hafen, sehr sauber, mit Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Fenster sind gut isolierend gegen den Lärm der Gastronomie ringsum

Pros:

Side sea view was as I expected. Balcony doors fitted well so no noise from the street.

Cons:

Fridge was too noisy to sleep with it on. The room has old, cheap furniture. Mattress was very this even with a topper. Room was small.
