Cons:

A snug room in which it was almost impossible to circumnavigate the bed.
The double bed occupied most of the floor space.
This room needs a single bed for single occupancy only.
To charge for a double was very unjust.

Pros:

We chose to stay here for our anniversary as we had stayed here before and it was lovely. The food and drink were good, nice breakfast, comfortable room and nice shower. Staff were polite and attentive.

Overall a very nice place to stay when visiting the New Forest.
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent for what I needed. Bed was comfy, shower was nice and powerful and the bathroom a good size. Overall very clean. The food in the restaurant was very good and the service was excellent. Parking behind the hotel was easy to access

Cons:

The floors in my room were very creaky and so was the cupboard. TV was a bit glitchy in the evening and lost signal quite a lot. The restaurant was good but prices seemed quite high although this appears to be happening everywhere now, so is probably just a sign of the times!

Ser zuvorkommendes Personal und sehr nett, in allen Belangen. Die Lage ist perfekt, man kann ist zu Fuss sofort im Ortskern und mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, welche der New Forest bietet. Das Essen im eigenen Restaurant ist fantastisch!

Cons:

Zimmer war eher etwas klein. Wenn man viel Gepäck hat, wird es eng.

A very average experience but would not revisit or recommend very dated

Pros:

Lovely comfortable room. Friendly staff. Restaurant and breakfast room were decorated lovely as was the whole hotel.

Cons:

Air conditioning wasn't working but didn't impact our stay as a fan was provided.
Bath was filling up as showers were taken due to a blockage somewhere. But didn't impact our stay.
