Not a 4 star hotel
Pros:

We liked the restaurant and food was nice. The staff were very nice and helpful and the location good but that’s where it ends. This is not a 4 star hotel. Air con did not work and obviously had not been working for some time. Luckily the lady on reception brought a fan. The room, bed and bathroom very small this made the room unbearably hot. The shower was broken so I had to use as hand held. The light switch cover fell off. No fridge and only one bottle of very warm water. The hand wash bottle didn’t work. I would not stay here again.

Disappointing
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and especially the dinning room staff. The restaurant was nice with good food. The location was spot on.

Cons:

No air con in room which was very small with small bathroom. The room was like an oven, luckily the reception gave us a fan. Broken shower and light switch. No fridge. Not a 4 star hotel.

Great hotel to stay only 5 minute walk to riverside restaurants..
Pros:

Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was large and cool (very hot weather)

Cons:

Not enough self space each side of the bed and in the bathroom for toiletries.

Bonne expérience mais un peu déçue
Pros:

La localisation est parfaite. La piscine agréable et le cadre super.

Cons:

Lit trop petit, chambre petite, la Clim ne fonctionnait pas, la cuvette et la prise électrique de la salle de bain étaient cassés (nous l’avons signalé mais aucun changement). Ce n’est pas très représentatif des photos.

Emplacement un peu en dehors de la ville mais accessible, promenante agréable le long de l’Adour.

La climatisation défectueuse, il faisait chaud pour dormir.

Overnight in Bayonne en route from Portugal to Nimes
Pros:

Access driving from main freeway was good as requested, proximity to old town was excellent, parking was adequate, plenty and quite near but in full sun and short walk with luggage.

Cons:

The room was awful, modern and clean but tiny, adequately designed, TV putted out into small walking area, bathroom was microscopic - a case of oversell and underdeveloped- but to be fair it was listed as budget so ok for one night.
