5 star experience
Pros:

It was incredible. From the moment we checked in till checkout we had the most beautiful stay. We got upgraded to a stunning room with a spa bath overlooking the harbour. We were always greeted nicely and reception helped with any inquiry. Would recommend the harvest buffet breakfast too! The best selection

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, and I would like to sincerely thank Dita and Audrey for their outstanding hospitality.

From the moment I arrived, they were warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their friendly smiles, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond made me feel truly welcome. They were always happy to help and ensured that every part of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel itself was spotless, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was exceptional.

Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

Exceptional staff, clean and tidy rooms
Pros:

Had a wonderful and seamless experience at this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Dita and Audrey who were very accommodating of our needs (super important when travelling with a baby). Rooms were beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Good location, close to the tram. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

First Time at the Darling
Pros:

Our first time at The Darling on a Luxury Escape package which included self parking , dining credits and a wonderful king size room overlooking Pyrmont . The staff at reception , concierge and Sokyo restaurant were very welcoming and helpful . Our room was very quiet and comfortable with complimentary water bottles and cushion menu. The only let down was the buffet breakfast which was at Harvest restaurant in the Star complex. Unfortunately it wasn’t 5 star experience . Very average selection of fruit and yogurts. No barista coffee and juice from plastic bottles . This is why I have given it 4/5

True 5 star hotel
Pros:

Some hotels claim to be 5 star but they are lacking in some ways. I would say The Darling is a true 5 star experience.
We stayed in the Jewel Suite which was truly luxurious. It was spacious and spotless with lovely toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in little bottles unlike most hotels these days). They also provided toothbrushes and bottled water unlike many hotels.
We had room service for dinner one night which was lovely. The price is fairly reasonable compared to some hotels.

Location is fabulous if you don't need to be in Sydney CBD. The Coles is literally across the road which is very handy.

The only thing that was lacking was service. We let the hotel know in advance that we were there for an extremely special occasion but they didn't ask how they could improve our experience. In fact, when we checked in the lady on the desk barely spoke to us. So that was a little odd.

Nonetheless we'll definitely be back and definitely recommend this hotel!
