Staff friendly, hotel beautiful, Food great.
No air con in the rooms it was like a sweat box the next day I had a temperature from staying in a complete sweat box
The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The grounds were lovely to walk around during our summer night stay. Food was really nice and rooms were spacious. We also made use of the health suite which was clean and the outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake was the icing on the cake.
Although we loved our stay the breakfast service was very slow. We were advised to book a table in advance, which we did days before our stay. We went to the restaurant and waited 10 minutes to be seated then a further 45 minute to be served. During that time we watched other tables get seated and served before us which was a little frustrating.
The room was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the hotel
We waited half an hour for breakfast, then almost the same time again for a pot of warm tea, the staff were not really friendly
Staff were lovely and beautiful location
The shower in room was a little mouldy and breakfast was a bit dry
Location and comfort..
Breakfast menu limited.
Very relaxing break
Exceptional hotel and location. Lovely food and friendly staff
Lovely place. Cater very well for celiac
The house keeping staff extremely friendly.
Receptionists not so much.
Very clean, leisure facilities lovely.
No wee fridge in the room, the water was warm and the wee milks on the complementary tray don’t do well in heat.
No writing material or pen either sounds silly maybe to some but I always use time away to do lists or take note of something.
We were forgotten about at breakfast the second day after ordering i noticed several tables getting their Oder before us and then when breakfast arrived it had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for a while.
Staff in the bistro were lovely, helpful and friendly.
The staff and location of hotel
In the side of hotel so didn't have good views, just of the wood chip burner. But as my husband only got out of hospital we booked last minute.
Hairdryer in room didn't work
Excellent
All aspects
The setting, ambience, staff, food & hot tubs.
Very little extra seating in spa area. Had to wear swim caps in pool. Served at table breakfast ( we love a good buffet hotel breakfast!) however-the food tasted excellent.
Clean and tidy
