As it was on the corner of the square and we had the windows open, it was noisy. Main thoroughfare through.
Comfortable and a good sized room which was clean.
The room was not serviced well at the end of day one.
Hand towels were removed and no fresh ones were provided. An extra bath towel was provided which was dirty. The water glasses were not cleaned.
The number of small errors by housekeepers let the hotel down.

Beautiful room with a fantastic view. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with lots of choice. Would definitely stay again.
There wasn't a socket in easy reach of the kettle.
Location was good. It has the potential to be excellent.
Staff do their best but could do with a bit of training to make this a much better hotel .
The view over the harbour, the food (they certainly don't skimp on portion size). Also, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. All in all an excellent stay. Well done The Royal.

It was close to the ferry terminal was the best part.
The food was just ok, the bed just ok ( heavy bed cover unnecessary) tv was difficult to manage, no air conditioning
Great room, super location and nice dinner. The staff are also great and it was an enjoyable stay.
It would be better if breakfast ran until 11am. It is nice to get a lie in at the weekend. Also cleaning team could be a little quieter before 10am in morning for those enjoying a lie in.
