Pros:

Nice location. Stayed there for a week. Huuuuge problems with getting in to my room since the key worked every 15th time. Really bad cleaning (if any), but nice, friendly and kind personell

Nice hotel but would stay in a different location next time
Pros:

The hotel itself is nice, rooms are comfortable and spacious enough. The staff is friendly and check-in/check-out was easy. Our kids loved the snacks (especially marshmallows) in the lobby with water that is available for guests.

Cons:

The location is not ideal. It didn't feel entirely safe to walk around with kids especially in the evenings. Also, there were blue police lights flashing outside the window for most of the night which even with the blinds closed were visible. Someone (probably a child) was running back and forth across the room above us at 2AM and it disrupted our sleep.

The staff was very nice and supportive, offering good advice on how to stay safe in the area. The breakfast and the coffee were both good. The room was clean, but it smelled like cigarettes. The location is situated between La Rambla and the Port—about a 30-minute walk—and close to the main market.

I would advise caution when visiting this area, as safety is a significant concern. There is a frequent presence of pickpockets and loiterers, so it is best not to display money or jewelry. The back streets should be avoided. Cleanliness is also an issue, with visible trash despite regular maintenance. While police officers are visible, further actions are necessary to manage the high number of vulnerable people living on the streets. For your own safety, please avoid walking here after dark.
