Pros:

Albergo bellissimo, elegante e accogliente, situato nel polmone verde dell' isola, in una posizione centrale e strategica per raggiungere ogni angolo di Islay. Ci è piaciuto davvero tutto, dagli spazi verdi esterni dove potersi rilassare sorseggiando un drink, al comfort della camera ampia e luminosa e il calore delle sale interne arredate con gusto. Abbiamo apprezzato la cena, di alta qualità e la colazione sia a buffet che espressa con menu alla Carta. Ci siamo sentiti davvero fortunati per la nostra scelta, soprattutto confrontandoci con altri turisti incontrati sull' isola che avrebbero tanto voluto alloggiare in questo hotel ma che non avevano trovato posto.

Good location Islay
Pros:

Overall a great hotel to stay at or even visit for the bar or restaurant whilst staying on Islay. We stayed the night and had an evening meal with good food in a relaxed environment, All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was well organised and very clean. The poached eggs at breakfast were perfection.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting
Pros:

Great breakfast in the morning and comfortable night stay

Cons:

We accidentally entered the wrong door with our dog and were directed to remove him... Could have been asked more gently as we understand about animals in a food service area!

Really enjoyable three night stay at the Bridgend Hotel.
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the Bridgend Hotel in a comfortable room. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional and created a good atmosphere, the food was excellent and the hotel was quiet overnight. Great location with lovely views and only a short drive to Bowmore. All first class.

Cons:

Some of the furniture in our room was a little bit tired, rickety and shabby. The dressing table came apart at one stage but I was able to put it together again and keep it upright! That said, this is very definitely NOT a complaint and it was no real problem for us at all. In fact I would not have mentioned it here had there not been a section of the review entitled "what didn't you like?"

Staff very friendly and impeccable service
Pros:

Breakfast was great and freshly cooked , haggis was the best I've tasted , chicken Balmoral at dinner was fantastic 😋 👌

Cons:

Nothing to fault , 2nd stay at this hotel , can't wait to go back
