It was absolutely beautiful. It felt like we were traveling in time as if we were in a fairy tale. Grounds were clean and well kept and the rooms were as well. Beds were very comfortable and spacious. Staff were all very helpful and professional. Geraldine was exceptional and courteous at the reception upon arrival. Location is far from the next town but we had a car so it wasn’t a concern for us. We had dinner at the Orangey Bar (I hope I spelled that correctly) food was very good and the staff was great. Overall highly recommend this castle. Meeting Dolan the resident wolfhound was such a treat but he really didn’t want anything to do with us 😢

Nothing,too quiet
It is way too pricey for what I got
Beautiful historic estate, wonderful wooded walking trail, beautiful sitting rooms, and very friendly staff.
No elevator but they do offer to have bellman take your bags.
Everything you dream about staying in a castle is true at Ballyseede Castle in Tralee! The grounds are beautifully manicured, the castle is grand yet comfortable, our bedroom was fit for royalty, the dining room is beautiful, the food is 5 star and the staff are warm, caring and funny! It was a splurge on our trip to Ireland but we would do it again in a heart beat!
We loved staying at the Ballyseede Castle, from the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and consideration of our needs. We loved the Castle grounds, the ponies and donkeys, dogs, and walking trails were all a great experience for our family. We enjoyed our 5 course meal in the restaurant and everyone raved at the taste of each course. It was an elegant experience where every detail was thought of. The room was just a dream with beautiful views of the Castle grounds. I can't rave enough about this experience. When I return to Ireland I will be booking more nights at the Ballyseede Castle.
We really can't complain about anything. It was the best experience of my life that I will cherish always.
Beautiful castle! The room was amazing. Peaceful. Nice sunset views from our room.

Room, location and service
Food. Dined twice, first night 5 courses and second night 2 courses. The starter dishes are all great but main entrees needs improvement.
Beautiful property

It was a gorgeous property and the check in staff were great
We ate in the bar and the staff seemed really stressed and like we were an inconvenience. I’m sure it’s because it was a busy day but that shouldn’t have mattered. But then at breakfast the next day it was the same. The gentleman that seated us was very kind and apologized for our wait and got us in as quick as possible. He explained everyone came at once and there was a wedding party so it was very busy but once again the wait staff acted so put out.
Loved the castle, property and dogs!
Some staff were excellent and some didn’t seem overly happy. We received our breakfast well after our friends arrived and were finished - not sure what happened there and not a big deal just worth mentioning.

Absolutely stunning. The gardens with the donkeys and ponies was delightful.
The castle manor was absolutely stunning. Facilities were immaculate, staff was extremely helpful and polite, and the food was incredible.
Everything about this Castle was amazing, probably the nicest place I have stayed for every reason you asked. It all started with Doreen at the bar and just got better. I will most definitely sing all your praises and if/when I return to Ireland I will book this beautiful place again.
I couldn't stay for much longer.
The castle was beautiful and the ambiance was peaceful and elegant! Breakfast was delicious and very filling!
Large suite. Good dinner. Great breakfast. Area to walk around outside was nice.
Some furnishings in public spaces were tired. Very sweet dogs but smelly. 😘 fixed price dinner deserts were the disappointment of an otherwise good meal.
