It was great!
Pros:

Food was good. Breakfast was generous. Location is perfect.

Idyllic break in an oasis of calm and majestic beauty in heart of Connemara
Pros:

I loved the location of this beautiful hotel overlooking water and nestled in mountains , the magnificent scenery is breathtaking. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Darragh in the bar and restaurant was exceptional. Food was superb also in a non pretentious way . Just really good food beautifully presented.

Cons:

Reception area is a tad small but in a quaint way . Not a problem really . Staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming.

Save your mussels until Killary!
Pros:

Wonderful location. Good value for food and wine.

Cons:

I think the dining rooms could do with a little more thought and sensitive design. Large numbers in tables, bright overhead lights, odd collection of small prints on walls. But of TLC and appropriate lighting could make it feel more like a restaurant experience (‘staff canteen’ vibes at present).
