Please note that the property hosts music events and live bands perform on Friday nights from 20:00 onward. On Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and bank holiday Sunday nights, there is an in-house night club until 02:00. Some rooms may be affected by noise.

Please be aware that all guests will be held liable to extra charges arising from damage caused by smoking or any other incidents that might happen throughout your stay. Guests are also liable for an additional charge should there be excessive noise after midnight resulting in the disturbance of other guests. Sehr schönes Hotel

Langtons is a nice hotel but not for us. More suited to large functions and weddings.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable and room was clean

Cons:

Garden suite room 22 on ground floor was overlooked by passing public. Did not feel private and had to keep curtains closed.
No aircon in room and outside temp of 25 degrees plus made room very uncomfortable

Pros:

Posizionato in centro e con il parcheggio gratuito. Ottima colazione e stanze pulitissime e accoglienti. Viaggiavamo con due neonati e ci hanno fornito due comodissimi lettini.

Cons:

Sarebbe stata utile una presa nel bagno per attaccare il phon e un piccolo frigorifero nella stanza.

The street directing cars to parking has been misaligned and needs to be repositioned.

Lovely place for a short stop in Kilkenny
Pros:

- Free on-site parking with plenty of space was very convenient. Location is convenient, just a 10-min walk from the center.
- The staff was really nice and helpful.
- The dinner at the hotel restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the waiting staff was great. Good ambiance at the bar with live music and Irish dancing.

Cons:

- The hotel is dated and clearly needs renovation - though it has its charm and the place is beautiful. We were aware of that when we booked so no surprise here, but note that this means no lift, no A/C, poor isolation from the street noise, and the shower was also not great.
- The breakfast was a letdown. The cooked part was okay but the buffet was very minimal, with few options and average quality products (compared to other hotels we’ve been in Ireland). We were quite surprised given how good the dinner was at the hotel restaurant the night before.

Wir haben gut geschlafen. Alles war zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück war gut!

Endlich mal ein breites Bett in Irland! Es war ruhig gelegen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr warm, eine Regulierung über die Lüftung war nicht möglich. Es war recht hellhörig im Gebäude.

Really nice hotel with great facilities!
Pros:

Big room with nice bathroom and small lounge, the hotel is quite big with some great bars and restaurants which seemed a little quiet, which was actually good for us

Cons:

The hotel is known for weddings, so I imagine if the whole hotel was booked and there was a couple of big weddings, it might be a very different experience...

Friendly hotel can’t wait to return.

Excellent location only 300 meters from centre.

Pros:

We stayed in a suite which was fab, love the 4 poster bed. Langtons is a great central location.
Might not suit older people as we could still hear the music until after 2, which didn’t bother us.
Best hotel breakfast 😋
Expensive for 1 night.
