Rooms were very comfortable and restaurants were great.
No lift
Goeie locatie, mooi hotel, lekker ontbijt! We hebben een gratis upgrade gekregen van onze kamer.
We sliepen op het bovenste verdiep (3e) en er was geen lift. Voor ons niet zo'n groot probleem maar misschien voor wat oudere mensen wel.
The room was big but a bit dated. The bar and restaurant facilities were excellent. On site parking was wonderful too.
The room we had was dated and the bed was not all that comfortable. We had to lug our suitcase up a flight of stairs.
Food was delicious
Found it difficult to sleep. Hotel needs to add another layer of glass inside the existing sash windows to reduce the noise from the main street, sounded like a window was open. Also a light on the carbon monoxide detector flashing every 20 seconds.
Location
The plumbing in our room was awful couldn’t take a shower toilet ran all night, noice outside our room all night
My booking did not include breakfast, but we paid the extra for breakfast and it was really worth it. The eggs benedict were wonderful.
The staff were so so nice, friendly and very helpful.
The room was very spacious and facilities were very good.
The location was excellent.
Parking also very good.
I stayed n this hotel about 4 years ago and it was a fabulous hotel, very glamorous and luxurious. Unfortunately since then it is gone a bit shabby and run down. I expect it would cost a lot of money to get it back to the way it was. It needs a lot of TLC, but still a lovely hotel and I would return.
Location, styling and the restaurant there was great
It’s beautiful. We stayed in the garden suites with the lovely flowers outside our picture window. The room was large and very comfortable. The restaurant was attractive with had a delicious cold buffet and served hot breakfast. Service was excellent throughout. Parking was free in a large lot.
Nothing
Location and usually nice spot to be in while in the city.
Being woken up at an early hour because of noise in the hallway slamming and conversation
Costumers service
Reception staff where excellent as was hotel and facilities
Staff are not really that friendly as far as Kilkenny people go I was surprised as they are the friendless in Ireland.
Staff in bar had no personality and when I asked for 2 of the breakfast options next morning a rather gruff woman replied well that's two breakfasts which left me flabbergasted as she made me feel I was being greedy and it was only a bit of fruit and cereal plus a poached egg on sourdough that I wanted.
Other staff kept forgetting our coffee and showed us to our table speaking as he walked ahead and we couldn't hear a thing he said. So I'd say waiting staff need to be better trained in customer courtesy for sure.
Una gran instal·lació amb moltes possibilitats de diversió. L'esmorzar molt complet.8
No hi ha ascensor per pujar a les habitacions dels pisos superiors.
