Location of this hotel was great. Very walkable to all things and easy to get around. Hotel is very attractive and clean. I appreciated the accessible room on the ground floor. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Room was comfortable and had a nice area for sitting outside.
It's expensive, but that's this area. Front desk staff were fine, but not overly friendly or welcoming. Restaurant staff were super friendly but I would say the food was just okay (outside of breakfast).
Great location. Breakfast was good and we had a very nice meal in the new restaurant
Expensive for what it was but then accommodation is expensive in Flam

Location is perfect. Staffs are friendly.
Room facilities are far below what you paid for. The double bed is so small and not able to fit for two adults.
Breakfast selection is limited and quality are just fair- lower Even not as good as we stayed a 3 star hotels in oslo.
Be honestly, the hotel is over rated. It is only becuase of the history, not the hotel quality itself
Perfect for a stopover. The dinner buffet was very nice.
A fine hotel with great views and friendly, helpful staff.
Hotel, apparently, unable to combine separate bookings into one room, given one week's notice. Some noise permeates from rooms above. Over priced.
Very cool and classy property adjacent, but separate from busy tourist part of town.
Quite expensive.
Beautiful hotel with very good food
Would have liked a sauna
Location in the centre of Flam, excellent restaurant, great breakfast.
Expensive for relatively basic room.
Beautiful hotel of a high standard. Our "standard" room had fantastic views over the fjord/harbour. Breakfast was good.
It is expensive (compared to our other stays in Norway) but worth the extra for the location.
