Sa situation exceptionnelle face à la mer
Beautiful room, with incredible views. Delicious breakfast and nice garden to enjoy a drink in.
Couple of minor gripes, not a fan of the key code to get in front door throughout stay and a bedroom door had a tempromental lock.
Gorgeous location
The location is so perfectly peaceful. The rooms are modern and super comfy, staff are all lovely and the food is amazing.
Grosses geräumiges Zimmer. Sauber. Freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Lage abgeschieden in grossartiger Natur direkt an Meeresarm.

Nothing
The location is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The view from the front rooms is stunning (make sure you book one of these). Dinner and breakfast were both good. Our bed was extremely comfortable.
Good off road parking. Useful local info provided in the room.
Overall, I was disappointed with the hotel. For the cost (£340 /night), I was expecting a more luxurious experience. The decor is tired and the building needs redecorating externally. Our windows were filthy. Even the hotel sign is covered in moss. Our bedroom was clean, but the bathroom had seen better days. The shower door was mouldy. On arrival, our room smelled strongly of bleach, so much so, it actually made our eyes water and we had to open windows and doors to blow it through.
The hotel has two EV chargers, but the £30 fixed cost is only reasonable if you need to fully charge. For top up charging, there are better value chargers in Oban and Fort William.
Position overlooking the bay was very nice - on the road but quiet.
It seems rather unloved and slightly run down. The food at dinner was grossly overpriced for what it was. The breakfasts very poor - minuscule portions of fruit and yoghurt and the mains not very well cooked and enjoyable. We travelled for 3 weeks in Scotland and this was the sadly the worst. When we checked out, someone else’s car charging fee was added to our bill - we don’t have an EV.
Port Appin is delightful and the hotel’s location is ok but hardly prime.
A shadow of its former self. Dreadful entrance. Miserable bar that closed at 8pm. No on site over night staff - so when one of our party was locked out of their room we came to close to breaking in to the room! Our room was below another with very noisy floorboards. Door locks were hardly fit for purpose. Carpets badly stained. Evening meal did not justify the price. The hotel is for sale - and it is clear that the owner is skimping on redecoration and maintenance (much needed) and on permanent staff (of which there are very few)…
We requested a walk in shower on booking . com and were advised our request was accepted. On checking in no room[ with sea view] with walk in shower was available causing us much discomfort for three days
L’emplacement, la vue, les chambres, le restaurant. Tout est parfait !
Vue magnifique sur le loch. Emplacement paisible. Chambre cosy et agréable. Lit confortable. Salle de bain pratique et spacieuse. Ensemble propre. Personnel accueillant. Dîner et déjeuner très bon
Rien à dire

Preset quantities of muesli/ yoghurt/ fruit were very small and it was a lot of work for staff delivering the portions to the guests. A buffet style for these items I feel would be better. The evening meal was superb and The hotel staff were so friendly from the minute we arrived. Our room was an excellent size with a beautiful view over the loch. Would definitely rent to people and hope to come back
