Très bon accueil
Au calme
Chambre de belle taille et confortable.
Le restaurant est très bon également
Habitación amplia, muy cómoda y ambientada de época.
Desayuno no muy abundante.
Amazing! Staff were great and the experience in general. True castle experience, loved it!
Zimmer 2 schlecht gleich neben der Küche, haben ein neues bekommen, Anbau Bar sollte man wegnehmen der Rest ist schön renoviert.
Ein schönes großes uriges und sauberes Zimmer.
Historic property close to the William Wallace memorial. Wonderful young waiter who, despite only being on his second day, coped with all the chaos behind the scenes, admirably. The food , despite not being our first choices, was plentiful and tasty.
Under their coat of arms is written NUNQUAM NON PARATUS which translated means never unprepared !!! It felt like Fawlty Towers …. No evening meal booking despite it being confirmed! Running out of various meal options both in the evening and morning. The poor staff were popping up in all capacities. Couldn’t open some windows to let in fresh air. And if above level 2, the water pressure was very low. Garden furniture very rickety…. Some TLC needed generally. Quite disappointed overall…
Magnifique château. Literie confortable
Rien
Liked the notion of an old haunted castle. Very nice staff, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast really good. Personal staff.
Room ok but not more.
Very basic!
The extra bed was not very comfy to sleep in.
Castle atmosphere classic and inspiring. The restaurant was classy and the food scrumptious. The Balmoral Chicken is now a favorite dish and the bread, cheese and apricot jam starter was addictive. I want more just thinking about it. The staff was friendly and professional.
Nice hotel in old house, very good breakfast and dinner too. Calm place.
Full of character - no frills but a really nice place to be 🥰 staff are great
