Un si beau bâtiment ! Un si mauvais entretien !

Le bâtiment historique et son jardin sont somptueux, mais...

Cons:

Bien qu certaines chambres semblent avoir été partiellement rénovées, la nôtre était une vrai honte (à 280 chf la nuit !): une vieille moquette, des matelas datant des années 70 (on a reconnu le vieux design brodé typique de cette époque), tous les meubles avec des égratignures ou carrément abîmés, un rideau de douche plastique qui ne se fait plus du tout, une serrure de porte cassée qui ne ferme plus de l'intérieur, une déco intérieure vulgaire qui tranche avec la déco historique et appréciée des parties communes, ...)
Côté service, c'est pas mieux: un accueil très froid à la réception, un service petit-déjeuner qui peine à suivre (paniers de croissants et petits pains vides 1h avant la fin, machine self-service pour les boissons, pas de possibilité de changer son assiette, ...), que du personnel étranger (aucun problème sur le fond mais ça donne un idée quant aux mauvais salaires proposés).
Une évidence transparaît: des propriétaires cupides qui, pour maximiser leur profits, laissent tomber en désuétude un très bel et ancien grand hôtel. Cela ne durera pas.

A reggeli finom volt és bőséges.Tea minőségi,kávé finom.Az antik hangulata elragadó.Csendes helyen van.A söröző a hotel alatt hangulatos.Parkolóhely tágas,könnyen beállható.Hotel előtt van hely rövid időre kipakolni.A kertre(hegyre) néző szobából hallani lehetett kicsit a vízesést ami nyugtató.

It used to have something in the past...right now it needs an update
Pros:

Stayed 4 night in a superior room. Room size very nice. Staff very friendly. Room had a balcony and we often enjoyed the views en watched rain and thunder passing the valley.

Cons:

Beds were too small, I guess 80 cm wide, length was fine for persons of 1.85 m. Width just not good enough for such a room size (and price). Breakfast basic. Bathroom very basic. Minibar not cold enough. We still had some old furniture in the room, one chair broke apart. Would I book again at this hotel...no, because of the small bed size.

An der Reception wurden wir nicht begrüsst. Die Frau hat einfach weitergearbeitet ohne Kommentar. Nach 5 Minuten war sie dann soweit..
