Cons:

It was very warm, and the room didn't have AC. We got a small fan from the reception, but it was not very effective.

The garden area is very beautiful

Cons:

Rooms are without air conditioning. Extremely hot. And with the open window if you are light sleeper it is impossible to sleep.
The rooms specially bathroom needs upgrade.
The young lady from the reception was mean and not supportive at all.
Be aware if you travel with the electric car. They got low charger and it is 15€ per hour! And they close at 21 o’clock. And if you want to fully charge your car it will be around 100€.

Beautiful Swiss experience in a small Swiss town, 30 mins aways from Interlaken.
Pros:

I went with very little expectations but the hotel was such a charming heritage property! It had maintained its original state, with the bathroom of our room being modern(I assume they renovated the bathrooms recently, and they are well done). The view from each window was spectacular, overlooking the beautiful town of Merengien. One can hear the bells of cows all through the day, which was so relaxing. The air is fresh, the breakfast was well planned. The receptionist also helped us with some freebies that came with the stay, like a cable car ride which was included for visiting guests, which added to our overall experience.

Cons:

While the receptionist was lovely, the support staff during breakfast can definitely do with some training. A bit snobbish and not very welcoming. Otherwise, no complaints.

Nur ok, sehr sauber, aber nichts spezielles. Keine 4 Sterne für mich.
Pros:

Sauber, schönes Hotel, gute Lage, ok.

Cons:

Ausstattung nicht top, kleines Zimmer, keine Klimaanlage, Frühstück mittelmässig, laut wegen Pub Gäste draussen. Hatte mehr erwartet.

Beautiful hotel, nice views from windovs. Nice location - nearly the city center. Great breackfast. Welcoming personal.

Belle découverte au pays de Sherlock Holmes
Pros:

Les grandes chambres et les salons du petit déjeuner belle époque sont magnifiques. Belle terrasse et beau parc extérieur.

Cons:

Le manque de climatisation ou ventilateur dans les chambres par une nuit tropicale (+25) c était très dur à trouver son sommeil.
Les salons Lounge du parc était pas super confortable (coussins trop mou)

Reasonably priced modern twist on a former luxury hotel
Pros:

This is a really pretty historic building, which is adapted to meet modern needs. This means a decent Irish pub fills the basement, and there is not space taken up with a fancy restaurant. The rooms are of a good standard. A nice modern twist on a former luxury hotel, giving a reasonably priced chance to enjoy a historic landmark!

Cons:

The hotel attracts many large coach tour groups. No tin itself a bad thing but led to some interesting skirmishes over breakfast between staff and non-English understanding guests who did not understand their room number was required for breakfast. Breakfast buffet and eating tables in separate rooms was a bit sub optimal.

Aan de receptie vroeg ik een factuur maar dat was moeilijk omdat het een boeking com boeking betrof.
Ik gaf mijn e mail rn btw nummer, ondertussen nog geen factuur gekregen. Hoe moet ik dat oplossen????

Top Lage, wunderschöner Gartenbereich und tolles Frühstücksbuffet

Cons:

Unser Schlafzimmer war im 4. Stock. Es war draussen 30° und im Zimmer ungefähr ähnlich. Die Wasserrohre die durchs Zimmer verlaufen geben extreme Wärme ab. Wir konnten leider alle 3 auf Grund der Hitze nicht schlafen. Das Fenster in der Küche hat keinen Vorhang. Ab 5.30 Uhr war es daher im ganzen Zimmer Tageslicht und ich war daher wach.
Das Badezimmer war sehr klein ausgestattet, kleine Dusche, sehr kleines Lavabo ohne Ablageflächen.

Für diesen Preis hätte ich mir deutlich mehr erhofft.
