absolut passend für einen stop-over
Pros:

schönes, altes haus mit grand-hotel-flair

Cons:

bisschen in die jahre gekommen. wenn man es ruhiger mag, sollte man ein zimmer nach vorne hinaus vermeiden. umso mehr, weil ohne klimaanlage man das fenster offen lassen möchte.
ebenfalls nicht angenehm, war die sehr laute reisegruppe. da müsste das personal auch mal darauf aufmerksam machen, dass man türen auch normal schliessen kann und sie nicht zuwerfen muss.

Pros:

A real treat for Sherlock Holmes lovers. One can enjoy living in the decorum belle époque and visit the Museum next door combined with the Reichenbachfälle. The Garden is beautiful and the Irish Pub serves great food and drinks in the evening. The Hotel is located in the heart of Meiringen, calm, with great views at the surrounding mountains and waterfalls. We had
a big room, nicely cooled down during the heatwave. A very enjoyable experience at the Sauvage in Meiringen.

Siamo felici del soggiorno, hotel davvero bello e ben tenuto, il giardino è una chicca.
Pros:

Abbiamo apprezzato molto la struttura antica, che conserva uno stile retrò davvero invidiabile.
La camera era confortevole, dimensioni oltre le aspettative, pulita e fornita di frigorifero e possibilità di farsi una tisana/caffè (sembra scontato ma in estate il frigorifero per riporre bibite e gustarle fresche ha un valore aggiunto).
Il giardino è davvero una chicca, so che crea più lavoro per il personale ma poter fare la colazione in giardino rispetto al salone ha un altro sapore.

Cons:

Sicuramente la colazione; il buffet potrebbe essere più fornito, soprattutto più vario e offrire dei prodotti della regione come formaggi tipici, yogurt e salumi di qualità (quelli presenti sembravano provenire da pacchetti preconfezionati.
Si potrebbe migliorare l'attenzione ai clienti intolleranti, mancavano gli yogurt senza lattosio per esempio.
Abbiamo apprezzato la presenza di latte di soia e avena.
Un'aspetto migliorabile inoltre riguarda l'assenza di un condizionatore, con le temperature sempre più alte un ventilatore è poco efficace per contrastare l'afa notturna.

Zeer mooi, maar erg warm in de zomer
Pros:

Het gebouw is echt mooi, al een attractie om te bekijken. Goed en compleet ontbijt.

Cons:

In de zomer als het warm is kun je niet koelen. Raam kan wel open maar gratis alle insecten die binnen vliegen. Het was oncomfortabel warm binnen.

L’hôtel est joli

Cons:

La literie est très mauvaise et pour le petit déjeuner les aliments sont dans une pièce éloignée avec aucun service à table. Le personnel ne parle même pas français pourtant c’est une langue nationale.

Although everything was fine so far and for one night, our expectations were only partially met.
Pros:

Very unique hotel with a hint of vintage luxury.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The room was not large but big enough, very clean, and had a nice bathroom. Perfect for a couple, but a bit crowded when the couch had to be turned into a bed for our child.
Located in the center.
Safe car parking.
Price was appropriate.

Cons:

With 35° degrees outside we'd have loved to find a proper aircon in the room instead of only a little, very noisy fan.
Hotel doesn't provide dinner. However, there are a lot of other restaurants, pubs and bars in short walking distance.

Resepsiyonda bizi karşılayan hanımefendi çok iyiydi çok ilgiliydi tane tane her şeyi anlattı güzel bir konaklama geçirmemiz icin çok ilgilendi… kahvaltisi güzeldi çalışanlar ilgili ve kibardı ama en iyisi resepsiyonda bizi karşılayan hanımefendiydi… otelin atmosferi cok guzeldi..

Hôtel historique, très bien situé

Cons:

Réception malheureusement pas desservie avant 16h le jour d'arrivée, ce qui n'a pas permis d'avoir les cartes de séjour permettant de faire des activités à proximité à tarif réduit, c'est dommage.
