Pros:

Great location with plenty of parking, probably the cheapest place to stay in Burnie and very good value for money, the shower was tiled and modern and the room a decent size, good food at the restaurant.

Cons:

Minor stuff but i didnt like that there was nobody at the reception til 10am and doors are locked, no heat pump - just a wall heater and was a little cold, a delivery truck blocked my car in a few times but wasnt for long and the shower went cold every time someone used the water.

A clean, budget stay with friendly staff- good location.
Pros:

Basic, clean and very quiet overnight, with helpful, friendly staff, excellent pub meals, and the convenience of Woolies directly opposite . Easy parking.The meal at the pub was great — generous, tasty, and excellent value for a budget stay

Cons:

A reading lamp would be a helpful addition for guests who like to read at night. As a solo traveller, I would also appreciate an option for an extra security feature on the door — even a simple chain — although the self‑locking door worked reliably.

The curtains didn’t sit flush, which allowed light in at night; adding velcro or small magnets could help them close more securely.

The spare blanket was clean but had noticeable hair on it, enough to be worth mentioning.

Friendly staff gave helpful local information ~ bar facilities, good shower with plenty of hot water.
