Extremely disappointing experience – unacceptable treatment of a guest
Cons:

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable.

I arrived at approximately 11:00 PM, exhausted after a long day. Instead of receiving a normal and professional welcome, I was immediately asked to pay at the reception. Given the circumstances and the late hour, I found this approach extremely unpleasant and humiliating.

What was even more disturbing was the attitude of the reception staff. Every time I entered or left the hotel, I felt that I was being constantly watched and followed with their eyes from the reception area. This made me feel uncomfortable and gave me the impression that my privacy was not being respected.

At one point, I went directly to the reception and asked why I was being constantly watched and whether there was some kind of problem. I asked to speak with the hotel manager so that I could calmly understand and resolve the situation.

There were three people at the reception and a cleaner present. Instead of taking my concern seriously, they responded with ironic laughter. Despite my request to speak with the manager, nobody provided me with a proper explanation or made any serious effort to address my concern.

I found this behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.

A paying guest should be treated with basic courtesy, dignity, privacy and respect. Being constantly watched and then met with ironic laughter when asking a legitimate question is not the kind of treatment I expect from a hotel.

Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the establishment. The issue was not simply the payment request — it was the overall attitude and the complete lack of professional communication when I tried to raise a reasonable concern.

I would not stay at this hotel again, and based on my personal experience, I would not recommend it to travelers who expect respectful, professional and welcoming treatment from hotel staff.

Great budget option in downtown
Pros:

Great budget option in central downtown.
Clean, comfortable, good wifi, and hot water in the shower.
There are several restaurants in the neighborhood.

Cons:

There isn't any restaurant (besides for breakfast) on the premises. No rooftop terrace of any kind

Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé
Belle décoration

Cons:

Le bruit
Les cafards dans la salle de bain dans la soirée et la nuit. Il y en avait à chaque fois que j'y entrais. Etant phobique, j'y ai passé une très mauvaise nuit.

Globalement, a passé un bon séjour.
Pros:

L’ hôtel est bien situé et sécurisé.
Le côté ville est calme.

Cons:

J’y suis allée 3 fois durant mon séjour de juillet à août 2026 et dans des chambres différentes mais à chaque fois les lits faisaient du bruit au moindre geste.
Le manque de places de parking.
Le débit d’eau est très très faible le matin tôt.
