I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and I would especially like to recognize Shantanu for his exceptional professionalism and dedication. he was a manager and written name like that I hope I remember correctly

From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, he consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His warm attitude, genuine willingness to help, attention to detail, and ability to handle every situation with confidence truly made a difference. Even when I experienced a few minor issues during my stay, Shantanu resolved them quickly and professionally, turning what could have been a negative experience into a very positive one. He is exactly the kind of employee every hotel hopes to have, someone who genuinely cares about guests and represents the hotel with pride.

I would also like to thank the restaurant manager, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember. He was equally welcoming, attentive, and professional, making every dining experience enjoyable.

People like Shantanu and the restaurant manager are the reason guests return. Their commitment to outstanding hospitality deserves recognition. I sincerely hope the hotel management knows what an incredible team they have. Thank you for making my stay so memorable.

I Nirmalan Ayadurai recently stayed at The Leela Palace Chennai, and I must say it was one of the best hospitality experiences I have had. The entire team was exceptional, but I would like to extend a special thanks to the concierge team, led by Mr. Anurag Ajith.
Their professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. They handled my deliveries from various suppliers seamlessly and went above and beyond even after our departure by locating an item my wife had left behind and ensuring it was safely secured.
Such dedication and care made our stay even more memorable. Thank you once again to the entire team for your outstanding service.

The Best 5 star hotel in Chennai. the staff are the best, have the art of genuine smile to its guest
Pros:

The staff were super amazing, one of the best, beyond comparison, the staff in this star hotel stands out far fetched from the rest, the attitude to help, and the most important the lost art of genuine smile to guests even when walking along the corridor, in the lift, at the restaurant (Spectre) was a visit to Paradise, could this be reality yes its true, many hotels in Chennai / India as a whole lacks these genuine gestures for a long time now, Bravo Leela Palace brand simply Outstanding by a big margin. Hats off!
The restaurant (Spectre - Buffet spread) is far beyond comparison among 5 star restaurants in Chennai (I have been to most 5 start restaurants in Chennai, multiple times) but Spectre is special for special occasions, Outstanding spread of dishes (I would say the best), Japanese Sushi was excellent, the choice and size of prawns, the spread on croissant and other bakery items was awesome, the spread on different varieties of Biriyani (Mutton, Prawn and Chicken) made it into a palace King/Queen size experience.
The bathroom was classy, big bath tub along with bubble bath solutions was awesome, the rain shower on the top, the medium shower on the sides and the hand shower was a classy.
The room in 'Royal' - 10th floor, that was fabulous, the rooms were quite big, additional Cot/bed provided was comfortable as well, separate walk in room for storing suitcase, foot ware, ironing tables were a nice touch, the high ceilings with Balcony was classic to its brim, architecture is cosy.
Very good effort to use glass bottles (reusable) for drinking water instead of plastic, goes a long way from a sustainability initiative (only exception was the bottled drinking water was too strong for my taste, not sure if that was excessive mineral blend, but that has to be streamlined as some water bottles had stronger taste than others).

Cons:

Parking was a nightmare (which was not the case usually, only when I arrived, the queue was so long, it stretched a long way, cars were lined up even outside the hotel drive way and the entrance road) possible that there was a marriage reception, but it was not the best of ways for staying guests to wait for considerable time in the drive way, the drive way slope did not make it easy for drivers too, each time to move just a car length further.
Valet Parking: Waiting for my car post checkout was quite a long wait too, and waiting in the heat outside the reception was not the best experience, but the staff were very good there too but the wait spoils that part of the guest staying experience.

Probably one of the best hotels in the world
Pros:

Perfect hotel ,staff exceptional ( The Butlers were amazing ( Aman especially gave us a great deal of professional service with any problems and arrangements ) All the staff were so professional ,friendly and always look immaculate.
The greeters ,reception,doormen and restaurant staff ...all quite amazing.. Very well done Leela Palace .

Cons:

The Television content and quality ....during rest times television can be very useful but with the exception of YouTube there was very little content ..unless we had a faulty set ( The sound didn't work at first ) A very minor complaint as EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AMAZING !

Notre séjour n' aurait pas été si mémorable sans le sourire et les petites attentions de Reshma chaque jour, sans les majordomes Suva et Raj toujours disponibles, attentionnés et prêts à répondre à chacune de nos demandes, avec gentillesse.
Dans cet établissement nous aurions pu être des clients anonymes, l' équipe nous a fait nous sentir uniques.
Nous avons apprécié leur gentillesse, leur bienveillance, leur dévouement.

Excellent experience
Pros:

We have stayed in Ritz Carlton, Dubai Atlantis Palm, ITC Grand Chola and many top notch hotels globally. But customer service and facilities in Leela palace is better than all of them.

Cons:

Staff very friendly. Souvik - manager went out of the way to provide excellent customer service. All staff including room service very good. Will surely stay in Leela palace again
