Einfach TOP!
Pros:

Das Haus im allgemeinen! Die gute Lage, das nahe gelegene Parkhaus, auf jeder Etage eine Kaffeecke, Mineralwasser, usw. Der wunderschöne Innenhof, wo wir unter den Platanen frühstücken konnten.

Cons:

Die Bar dürfte länger offen haben!

Wir haben das Tattoo und den Aufenthalt in basel sehr genossen. Es war ein super Event.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Bedienung überaus zuvorkommend und freundliche
Bei der Ankunft wurden sehr freundliche empfangen.

Cons:

Die Gänge und der frühstücksraum sind etwas düster, dunkle Wände, dunkler Teppich, könnte es freundlicher ausgestattet sein.

Ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, das es zu wiederholen gilt

Die Lage ist fantastisch mitten in der Stadt und doch nicht laut.
Das Frhstück bietet alles, was man möchte.
Der Innenhof ist aussergewöhnlich, was Stimmung und Qualität angeht.
Das zuvorkommende, freundliche Personal.

Einzigartiges Erlebnis - wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
Pros:

Die Lage so zentral am Claraplatz war natürlich genial + optimal für unsere Unternehmungen, welche wir aufgrund der Basel Card ausschliesslich mit dem ÖV absolviert haben (bis nach Muttenz)! So viele Busse und Trams direkt vor dem Hotel (und dann auch noch das nahe Basel Tattoo, der Hauptgrund unserer Visite) ist einfach nur super! Das Frühstück ist äusserst vielfältig und grosszügig (viele verschiedene Käse- und Fleischsorten, sehr feiner Lachs), der Latte Macchiato hat ebenfalls vorzüglich gemundet und die am Wochenende verlängerte Extrastunde mit Frühstück bis um 11 Uhr haben wir sehr gerne genutzt und geschätzt!

Pros:

Posizione eccellente per godersi il lungo Reno, camera silenziosa nonostante fosse sulla strada. Personale cordiale e molto disponibile. Abbiamo anche prenotato una cena nel ristorante interno e siamo rimasti molto contenti. Colazione buona, con grande varieta' di cose e frutta fresca.

Idealer Standort für mit dem Auto an das Tattoo Ereignis!
Pros:

Da wir die Tattoo Vorstellung besucht haben, war die Lage absolut perfekt. Auch der Empfang und das Zimmer waren absolut korrekt.

Cons:

Es war im Gang und im Zimmer etwas zu dunkel (Ausstattung mit dunklem Holz und Teppiche).

Prachtig en fijn hotel. Perfecte ligging, om de hoek van de Rijn, winkels, terrasjes, musea en de oude stad.
Pros:

Mooi en ruim ingericht, en een prachtige binnentuin om te ontbijten en dineren. Zeer vriendelijk personeel!

Cons:

De handdoeken waren niet zo fijn in de kamer.

AWFUL. Do not believe the lie you get air conditioning, you don’t.
Pros:

Handsome building and friendly reception staff

Cons:

The air conditioning is deliberately not operated in this hotel. Do not stay here if temperature is above mid twenties Celsius. We stayed in the top floor suite and it was 25-26 Celsius AT NIGHT. Didn’t sleep a wink. Even when outside temp was 20c at 6am the air conditioning does did not operate, did not blow any air, and room was 26c.

Staff said it was Swiss law, that could only cool to 2 degrees less than outside temp. Utter rubbish fed to them by management-it was 20c outside and still air on would not work to 20c inside.

€400 euros a night to stay in a hotel where the air conditioning does did doesn’t work. A disgrace. I asked the reception to pass on my problem to the manager to respond via email, received nothing. I politely emailed the hotel for an explanation but after a week not even a courtesy email in reply.
