駅から近くて大変便利
チェックインが4時くらいだったらありがたかったかな〜。夕飯を食べに行く際の着替えがトイレになってしまった。

Foreigner friendly (I speak no Japanese), the hotel was in a great location, close to Beppu station (travelling solo with luggage this was important!).
Excellent value. I stayed at a 4 star hotel the night before which was more than double the price and this hotel was unbeatable for humble offering of comfortable bed and onsite onsen. It was perfect for exploring Beppu Jigoku by bus. I actually appreciated that they had more mature staff.
Hot tip visit the noodle restaurant across the road, DO NOT visit the nearby Takegawara Onsen for the sand bath (bad experience almost ruined beppu for me) visit the Beppu Beach sand bath instead which is located at Beach.
At night walking around some stores seemed red light district in some areas but I felt safe walking around alone as plenty of families.
お風呂が源泉かけ流しでいいお湯だった、近くに海鮮の美味しい居酒屋やクラフトビールの店があり楽しめた。駅もコンビニも近く便利だった。歩いてすぐのところに提携大型パーキングがあり、24H無料のチケットがもらえた。
