Fabulous, friendly and connected
Pros:

The hotel was as advertised. We found a good value for money. Solid breakfast. Very helpful. staff, who did all I could to make our stay comfortable. Cleaners were quick, discreet, and thorough. Young man at breakfast was attentive, friendly and efficient. The front desk people were informative, helped us to book things, took their time to explain and we’re always friendly when we left and entered. The position of the hotel is good - well it does require a little bit of walking to get anywhere, as the Metro is not close. But being close enough to walk to the Blue Mosque was really great.
There are many good eating places in the area. Try The Arch - get a measure plate and include Baba Ganoush, olives, and the best hommus you’ll taste in your life.Also go to the Sweet shop next to Lala LAL Sultan Restaurant - owned by the same lovely man.

Cons:

The only thing we didn’t like was being pestered and guilted by the attached restaurant people every time we came and left the hotel. We wanted to explore other areas not stay at the hotel to eat lunch and dinner.

Wonderful Hotel and Staff! But do not choose ground level rooms.
Pros:

PROS: Acacia Mansion was wonderful! The Staff very polite and accommodating, especially helping me to book a taxi last minute (the company of my orig reservation ended up being very shady).

Cons:

CON: The room I had was clean and comfortable, but the noise level was definitely a problem to address. One wall is connected to their kitchen and stays is loud until past 1am. If you have earplugs, that's fine. If you don't, it's problem especially for a person needing much rest from a long flight. If I closed the only room window, it would be less noisy but stifling hot. It makes no sense for a room window to be directly opening to a hotel's kitchen! LOL. To solve this, ask for an upper level room.

Pros:

Acacia Mansion Hotel made our first stay in Istanbul truly memorable. The location is excellent, just a 2–3 minute walk from Sultanahmet, with easy access to all the main attractions. The hotel is also close to a Havaist bus stop, making travel to and from the airport very convenient.

Our room was clean and spacious for our family of two adults and a 6-year-old child.

The staff were outstanding. We were welcomed by Apo, who was friendly, energetic, and gave us great tips on the best places to visit and what to avoid. Hilal was also incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast was simple but had everything we needed. We would happily stay here again.

Pros:

Absolut freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr schönes und großes Zimmer. Frühstück einfach aber frisch. Sehr familiär und gemütlich. Man könnte zu Fuß alles gut erreichen.

Fantastisk hotell med hjertevarm service — Acacia Mansion Hotel
Vi ankom Istanbul sent på kvelden etter en lang flyreise fra Norge med SAW flyplass. Transporten til hotellet gikk smertefritt — vi ble møtt av en guide ved møtestedet som tok oss direkte til en romslig taxi. Turen tok ca. 1 time, men sjåføren var hyggelig og vi kom trygt frem.

Vi reiser med et barn med spesielle behov og hadde på forhånd bedt om rom i første etasje. Den første natten fikk vi dessverre tildelt et rom i tredje etasje, noe som var litt skuffende etter en slitsom reise. Vi var for trøtte til å ta opp saken og valgte å overnatte der.

Men — neste dag ble alt mer enn rettet opp! Hotellet flyttet oss til et stort og flott rom i første etasje, akkurat slik vi hadde ønsket. Rommet var nøyaktig som på bildene — romslig, pent innredet med et stort og fint bad. Vi ble veldig fornøyde!
Frokostbuffeten fortjener en spesiell omtale. Hver morgen ble vi møtt av et bredt utvalg ferske grønnsaker, frukt og typisk tyrkisk frokost. Akkurat det man ønsker seg etter en dag med sightseeing!

Hotellets beliggenhet er fantastisk — rett ved Blå Moské og Hagia Sophia. Alt er innen gangavstand.
Vi anbefaler Acacia Mansion på det varmeste og vil gjerne komme tilbake!
