Beautiful facility right on beautiful Lake Canandaigua. Good hotel restaurant. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and abut the city park right along the lake. Great for walks

Property is very beautiful

Cons:

Room 227 is next to the ballroom. That being said, I was awakened on both nights multiple times by the employees dragging tables and chairs 11:45pm-1:45am! I had to call the front desk multiple times because of the noise. Both mornings I woke up with migraines from interrupted sleep. The room should not be used as a guest room.

I liked the complementary coffee in the morning in the lobby.

Cons:

Lobby was not as clean as was expected from this level of a hotel. Bottled water was complementary ONLY to silver level member and the one water fountain was in a hidden corner on the lobby level.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel. If you get a room on the lake side the view is gorgeous. Great selection if you are attending a concert at the CMAC.

This hotel has so much potential to be great . Some simple improvements like staff training and a few more chairs linger

Short staffed - slow service , staff ( with the exception of a couple) seemed fed up over worked not trained and not interested in creating a welcoming environment.
