Did the job nicely
Pros:

Good location. Clean, comfortable beds. Good breakfast

Cons:

It sounds simple. But replacing biscuits etc for a multi night stay is a little thing that would make a big difference

Pros:

Breakfast was good as was the lady who served us.

Cons:

We were kept awake all night by guests who were in the bedroom above ours, who were so loud that we thought they were trying to gain entry to our room; the welcome at the reception desk on Thursday evening was not friendly, and was not helpful or pleasant, as we could not even gain entry to our room. We were not told that a wedding was on. A phone call was needed even to gain entry to our room, via a code number. The code number that we were given was incorrect. So, under ALL these circumstances, l feel that some degree of refund is required. We DO hope that you will agree with this conclusion. Thank you

Thecsraff in the restaurant was friendly.

We had a dark room in the basement.
It's summer now but I could smell mould which may be a problem during colder and rainy times.

Nice location
Pros:

Location and breakfast was great. Lovely room. A bit loud with the traffic but fine.

Cons:

We booked for 2 adult and a child (age 9). There was a sofa bed with no spare sheets or blanket. If it were during winter time we would’ve been freezing as my daughter and I had the only duvet and my husband slept with no blankets. I had emailed the staff but with it being a Saturday night and no staff on site, it was disappointing.

Very enjoyable and great value for the money.
Pros:

The lodge and grounds were excellent for the money we paid. The look of the golf club and scenic views are excellent. We loved the countryside surrounding us. The staff were polite, friendly and professional. Facilities in yhe room were excellent. There were only two issues. The noise of cars on the main road was very loud and there were stains on the bed linen. Breakfast was very good.

How close it was to wedding venue we were attending the walled garden and it was close to the golf clubhouse for breakfast

Cons:

No aircon and no fan and it was so hot inside.
No fridge in the room. Limited details about the accommodation I was under the impression our room was separate in a lodge itself. It was very expensive for essentially just a room and bathroom with no aircon and no fridge

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Shower in bath . Small bath . Too many steps down to the room . No help with luggage . Breakfast in the clubhouse where we felt very out of place and almost as if we were not expected . We had no idea where to go and ended up gate crashing a private function
