23 Boutique hotel is a charming and well designed property, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. It is in the perfect location to explore Malta, being just a few steps from Valletta, in a quiet area, with the bus station and the ferry terminal to Gozo nearby.

Very good hospitality and beautiful place with comfortable rooms
The electricity went out at night, as expected since there’s currently a huge problem in the country but I would expect a boutique hotel to have a generator. I couldn’t sleep at night due to the room being warm since I couldn’t use the Ac, it was a very uncomfortable night and I had to go to a 12 hour shift on no sleep. Which sucks for a 160 euro hotel room for 1 night . Since there’s no staff at night I couldn’t make a complaint to anyone :/ had to lay in my bed drenched in sweat.. and this was after I attended the Isle of MTV festival, so I was looking forward to a good night rest.
Beautifully renovated historic building! Our room was very comfortable with lovely balcony! Also a great rooftop terrace.
The staff is truly exceptional, always friendly, helpful, smiling, and attentive to every request or comment from guests. Their hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful, modern interior design. Housekeeping is provided every two days, but daily cleaning can be arranged upon request. We especially appreciated the complimentary amenities available to guests, including excellent coffee, chilled lemon water, fresh bottled water, and a selection of teas.
The only small downside was that the rooms could be better darkened at night, as they are not completely blackout. However, the air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room very comfortable throughout our stay.
It ticks all the boxes (cleanliness, well-situated, toiletries provided, etc) and the staff go above and beyond making your stay memorable & comfortable. There’s a lounge area in the central quad with a bathroom to freshen up. They will store your luggage whilst you explore. And a separate lounge area has free drinks, reading material, and something I’ve never seen before - a donation based souvenir ‘shop’. There is also a rooftop bar with lovely views.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
The shower is in the bathtub - anyone with mobility issues may need to ask about alternatives
Struttura seminuova con un cortile interno su cui affacciano le camere, un po' come i riad marocchini. Si nota la cura nei dettagli: sapone profumato, piante vere rigogliose, stampe e oggetti d'arredo di desig, qualche opera d'arte qua e là. Pulizia impeccabile, personale gentile e accogliente. Ottimo letto, ambiente silenzioso. La colazione è su richiesta ma il caffè e disponibile liberamente come l'acqua. Bello il rooftop dove si può ordinare un aperitivo o la colazione. Posizione perfetta a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro de La Valletta.
Un po' rumorosa la ventola dell'aria condizionata.

So close to Valetta but in a quiet lowkey neighborhood. The staff were attentive and friendly, the decor was lovely, and very clean.
The only small issue was a lack of full length mirrors in well lit places inside the hotel rooms themselves
