Cosy room poor breakfast
Pros:

Comfortable bed and large shower

Cons:

Breakfast was poor
A full English which was pre ordered with a bread tasting sausage, 3 hash browns and no bacon and wasn’t served tea or coffee or told if there was a machine to dispense hot drinks
Not what I call a full English at all

Spot on
Pros:

Good location, friendly staff and the room was clean and had everything you need. We had emails about how its noisy and has music at the weekend until the early hours. You can hardly hear it to be honest, just a hum in the distance and they provided ear plugs. (We stayed Friday night)

Cons:

If I was being picky the pillows were incredibly lumpy but for one night I didnt mind.

Great Breakfast
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was explained. The room was clean and had a walk-in shower. There was also a large fan in case it was too hot. The breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

I had requested a ground floor room when booking and only received notification that there were no ground floor rooms on the morning of our intended stay. There were steep stairs up to the rooms and very hard to negotiate. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There were workmen working on a roof at the back of the hotel when we arrived, making a lot of noise. The car park at the back of the building we could not locate. The shower was quite hard to use as you could not adjust it. The bed was only a double and not very supportive.

A twin bed is just a single bed,loud music all night long.
Pros:

The staff was nice,especially the girls serving breakfast were very kind .

Cons:

If you plan to sleep ,take into account that there is a club in the premises of the hotel/pub and one next door.I couldn't sleep at all.Second thing -and the guy ay the reception blamed Booking.com for this-I booked a room with a twin bed and they gave me one with a single bed.The customer service on the platform ignored me completely.
