Pros:

We loved the rustic charm, the generous size of the rooms and the s'mores kit was a fun unexpected bonus.

Cons:

I wish they would have had tea since we don't drink coffee. Not much to complain about!

Great affordable accommodation
Pros:

We really enjoyed the set up of the hotel and the location. The room was very nice and the bed was perfect. We had the best nights sleep there. I also like that they had DVD options and bonfires for smores. We're planning on coming back for sure.

Cons:

The shower needed TLC looks wise but the water temperature and pressure was spot on.

It was nice and we would choose a larger and brighter room.
Cons:

We liked the place. The staff was very friendly. We stayed in room 11 and it was clean and tidy but it was quite quite small and dark.

This place is great for a family as there are activities throughout the property to enjoy.
Pros:

This property is not new at all, but our room was furnished well. The room was well insulated with no noises coming from other rooms around us. There was everything we needed to enjoy a meal and a quiet night's rest.

Cons:

There was a discussion with the manager about bringing our small dog into the room we were assigned. I told her that I talked to the person when we checked in and was told that we could remain in the suite we were booked into with our dog.

The whole atmosphere was perfect. So many outdoor fire pits scattered around.

The parking lot was the only complaint. Not even bad just hard to turn around

A family friendly stay that was pleasant for even our four legged dog
Pros:

Location, family friendly- kids liked the sandbox, game room, and getting a dvd, dog friendly, the back area with the golf and pet area. The s’mores and fire pit were nice too 🙂

Cons:

There were ants crawling on the bathroom windowsill, but that was it.
Some noises at night from that made our dog bark but I don’t think it was your place, it was whoever was next door.

Charming and Cozy Vintage Inn is a must stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Anchor Inn. It is a fun and cozy vintage inn that has been lovingly restored. The innkeepers add sweet and fun small details that make the stay even more enjoyable. They make their guests feel looked after and cared for in this quaint and charming inn.

Love this place! We would love to stay again.
Pros:

This is one of our favorite places to stay, it has a wood lodge feel like you would find in Yellowstone, but updated to be comfortable. We loved the special extras like extra towels and movies in the hallways, the amenities room with ice etc, the smore packs in the rooms and the fire pits on the property. We would love to stay here again.

Cons:

The bathroom in our room was a bit small, and didn't have much counter space.

Great place for family bonding!
Pros:

I received a very warm welcome from the staff who were super helpful when we arrived and I hadn’t read the directions very carefully. I loved that there were s’more kits in the room! The fire pit are was a fun way to hang with other guests.

We enjoyed our meal at the pizza place. I believe the resort was fully booked but it didn’t feel over-crowded.

Cons:

If there was a breakfast of any sort, I didn’t realize it. I’d have been thrilled if there had been a hot tub. You should rename the woodsy area with the croquet/putt-putt, as I think that would be cool. We joked that it must be “pet relief area” since there were lots of those signs. 😉
By the big fire pit, it would have been helpful to have lots more tinder and kindling around and not just big firewood. We had perfect conditions but never really got the fire going.
