L'emplacement

Cons:

La chambre était au sous sol avec vu sur un petite cour sombre et aveugle. Le réceptionniste a été injurieux et malhonnête, se pensant sans doute plus important que le confort et la satisfaction de ses clients. Je n'ai jamais vécu une telle expérience. On m'a donné un chambre qui ne devrait pas être proposé aux clients pour un hôtel de ce standing, et certainement pas à plus de 300 euros la chambre. Et ensuite le réceptionniste m'a insulté car je n'était pas tres satisfait d'avoir cette chambre, en me disant notamment que lui même avait déjà dormis dans cette chambre et qu'elle était très bien... C'était lunaire !

Fine. A well located, place to lay your head but nothing about the room itself to write home about.

Great location! Wonderful, friendly staff who were very kind.

Cons:

For the price paid, our room was underwhelming to say the least. Extremely small, even for Amsterdam standards, dark and dingy. Have a feeling our room may have been repurposed from a previous storage room with the way the sole window was tiny and looked into a wall, the ceiling felt low (had to dip my head in a couple spots) and there was only really space for one of us to put unpack and pop our luggage (only one tiny closet/hanging rack that held maybe four items). The shower doesn’t have the best ventilation, and as a result think there may also have been some mold spores starting to grow. Bed was decent, just needed fresh pillows- provided ones had seen their lifetime use.

The likes out weigh the dislike. Overall, I enjoyed my stay

Friendly staff, free umbrella, available cup cake for night tea, bathroom clean

Cons:

Small TV; non availability of socket next to bed (unless I missed it); the lining covering the window made it difficult to view the canal without having to open the window. I recall reading that distance from Amsterdam Centraal was 300m, I was a little suprised that it was much further especially that I decided to walk fromthe station to look for the hotel.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt in diesem Hotel gar nicht, einzig die Lage passt hier sehr gut
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels direkt an der Herengracht ist wirklich sehr gut, so dass man die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer mit Grachtenblick im ersten Stock des Hotels war sehr sehr klein.
Es gab so gut wie keine Schränke für die Klamotten, keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten, für 2 Personen völlig unzureichend.
Ja und der Grachtenblick..... wenn man sich bückte, Blick durch ein mehrfach unterteiltes Fenster vom Boden mit Oberkante in Bauchhöhe und einem winzigen Klappfenster (ca. 30x40cm) zum Lüften, na ja.
Langweiliges Früchstück mit Aufbackbrötchen und sehr wenig Auswahl.
Vielleicht sollte man Ende noch den Coffeeshop in direkter "duftender" Nachbarschaft mit Trafik bis in die Nacht erwähnen.

Hotel in hervorragender Lage direkt an der Herengracht. Zimmer mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Gracht. Historisches Gebäude und Zimmer mit stilvollen Details.
Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.
Idealer Ausgangspunkt für einen Aufenthalt in Amsterdam.
