Excellent location and great bedrooms which were clean and modern. Especially great to go out onto balcony at breakfast and watch the cars in the pits plus use of a sim off the dinning room.
We had to wait ten mins to be seated at dinner and were ignored by staff. Not enough staff on for the numbers eating.
Beds gave both my 12 yr old son and I sore backs feels like cheap mattress with a topper on top
Reception very efficient and friendly. Upgraded mu dad to a balcony room as it was his 80th birthday 🎂 Rooms were fantastic, clean, roomy and comfortable 😀 All the staff from breakfast, the bar and restaurant staff were welcoming. The terrace overlooking the track was great. Fantastic choice for breakfast.

The room, spacious and well equipped. The bar seating and balcony area. Great view of the track. The food was really good.
no bedside table so charging my phone, balanced on the bed frame which fell and hit my spectacles that were on the floor and smashed them.
Huge staffing issues in quantity and quality. No acknowledgment, not wanting to help, slow, bar took an absolute age , no matter the time of day. Bar and restaurant staff not friendly or helpful. Except a slightly ginger barman that was working Sunday on the bar at 1pm and a young dark hair very smiley lad working Friday night in the bar waiting tables. He was fabulous and tackled our missing order head on and got it all rectified with confidence. Service is the biggest issue. A lot of bar and restaurant staff seem to hate to be there. Miserable , potentially understaffed. No one tidying up the empty glasses. I had to ask 3 times for the barman to use a gin glass for gin and tonic not a straight glass. There were some available so unsure why they don’t use the correct glass for correct drink. The system of the square bar I don’t think works. Staff do not know who’s next, who’s been waiting and staff only at one or two of the 4 edges serving .

We were there for work and setting up an event for Carfest. The midweek rate was super and not much more expensive than a Holiday Inn 10 miles away. Very nice room and comfy bed. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Parking on site.
Not much I can fault here, I was only there for one night so can't comment too much on the facilities of the hotel.
