Great hotel, lovely clean room, bed was so comfortable. Bathroom very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast super. Good value for money.
Not the best location on a busy street but quiet though.
Schönes großes Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück. Im Pub konnte man toll essen und sich bei guter Musik auch zum Kartenspielen lange aufhalten.
Breakfast was excellent. Made me an omelette to order which was tasty and well presented.

Could do with a bit of sound proofing. We had a very noisy family staying near us, banging doors and lots of crying and shouting going on during the night. Maybe a good idea to put family’s at another end of the hotel or on a different floor from the residents. Just a suggestion!

I booked on the day, they Cancelled my booking via phone call due to a water leek. No refund, no reply via booking.com message and no answer on the number provided.
GNH was easy to find, well positioned for easy access to the A1 and the town with plenty of parking.

Nette schone kamer en badkamer met groot tweepersoons bed. Naast ontbijtbuffet kon je ook iets kiezen van de ontbijtkaart.
Hotel heeft een eigen parkeerplaats waar je ook na uitchecken de auto mag laten staan. Dit is handig wanneer je nog wat uren te overbruggen hebt tit de ferry vertrekt.
Vanuit hotel goede OV-verbinding naar centrum Newcastle. Bushalte aan hotel en op 15 minuten lopen metro.

The room was very dusty and we had to ask the staff to change the room which was very quickly done. The second room was also dusty and third time lucky the room was fine.
