Honestly so glad I stumbled on Misty Elegance for my stay in Ella. Couldn't have picked a better spot!
The location is a total 10/10, sitting just a 5-minute stroll from the central market where all the cool cafes and night action are. It was a complete game-changer since I didn't need to rent a scooter or hail a single tuk-tuk the entire time.
On top of that, the host and the whole team were super friendly, welcoming, and constantly going out of their way to make sure everything was smooth. They were so thoughtful that they even helped us cook fresh food for our small baby, which made our stay completely stress-free. The rooms themselves were squeaky clean, super comfortable, and ridiculously good value for money.
If you're heading to Ella, definitely book this place! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

La stradina x arrivare alla casa era un pò stretta, noi avevamo 1 van grande e abbiamo preferito fare 100m a piedi. La struttura è carina ed accogliente. Anche sufficientemente pulita. Ci siamo trovate bene

Binnen 5 minuten sta je in het centrum maar in het verblijf is het een zee van rust

We had a lovely three days staying at Misty Elegance. The rooms are well appointed and ours had a fridge. It is a short walk from the main part of town which meant that it was quiet at night. Walkable from the train station.....takes just over 5 minutes.
Beautiful place, conveniently located right in Ella but on a quiet road. The rooms are very comfortable and bright and clean. The place is accessible by car, just need to be a good driver but we managed fine. The staff are so lovely and helpful and helped us get our car started when it wouldn’t start.
The windows don’t close completely so I was a little scared of mosquitoes but it ended up fine.

Rooms are spacious, bed was very comfortable and the balcony had really nice .
Staff Always greeted us with the biggest smile and helped us with everything!

Very beautiful place and clean rooms.
The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is clean, you can even shower in hot water!
WiFi works great, there is no AC but a fan on the ceiling (this is fine, climate in Ella is fairly mild compared to other places in Sri Lanka).
The staff is friendly, they offered a laundry service and even neatly folded all our clothing.
Down the street is a welllness-spa as well as an amazing cooking school!
It’s only 5 minutes to the main streets with all the restaurants, but still very quiet and calm. Ella railway station is also only 5 minutes away.
The owner offered Tuk Tuk transfer to us (but his price was higher than Uber prices, so we didn’t take it). The balcony is a shared balcony and connects to the stairs.
